At the World's End: our Take

Liz: .......and that's what has happened until you arrived.
Grant: Do you love him?
Liz: Jack! (she tries to look shocked at the thought of it, but she can't bring herself to lie about her feelings)......yes.
Grant: Would you do anything to save him?
Liz: What's wrong? This has something to do with Tia doesn't it? i saw her on the deck one night, she like drained Jack of his strength
Grant: (He knows Jack would never allow anyone to know his troubles, but he is his father and would not see his son in this state) Tia brought him back, but he can only stay back, if he ensures one thing by the end of this week, or he dies.

Later that night, everyone is in the cabin drinking. Enjoying themselves.
Liz slowly creeps out onto the deck and finds Jack standing at the helm.
"Jack.."
"yes dearie"
"Why didn't you tell me?
Jack looks around nervously. "what exactly are you refering to?
"Jack, i saw her that night, why didn't you tell me what she had done?"
"I have lots of women lots of nights, to which one are you refering."
"I don't know why i bother Jack, you obviously don't care if you live or die. So i will sort this out myself."
While walking away Liz turns to face him
"Land ho, Captain, adn i do believe it is Tortuga."

Jack cursed to himself. If he had been waiting for the opportune moment, that was it.

Jack (as they enter Tortuga): Why did you do that?
G: Enough beating around the bush! You don't have much time left. How are you going to advertise we need a goddess killer?
Jack: By having an optimistic attitude about it. Now try not to do anything stupid.
Will (to Liz): I never thought we would come back to Tortuga. May I have a moment?
Liz: Here? In the shadiest place in the Caribbean?
Will: It's important. And I think we can take care of ourselves.
Liz: What?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH its getting soooooooo intense im freaking out as usual.

I LOVED the oppurtune moment line. 🙂

Will pulls Liz into a dark corner.
liz: Before you say anything, Will, I have to ask you to be nice. I havent had the easiest time the past few days.
Will: Havent I always treated you like a lady?
Liz: (sighing) yes. ALways.
Will: Elizabeth, I know things have changed. I don't pretend to know what your heart wants. You're such a mystery to me... But whatever you decide, however this goes, I want you to know I love you and I will be here for you... forever.

Liz looks at him with tears in her eyes. He kisses her forhead and walks away. Suddenly Liz hears a voice behind her and whirls around. It is Tia, leaning closeby.

Tia: Quite a dilemma you got, eh?
Liz: Not at all. I think its perfectly plain what I must do.
Tia: Oh, is it now? Then yer a step ahead of most women when it comes to matters of the heart.
Liz: Who said this was a matter of the heart?

And with that Liz, whips out her sword and attacks Tia...

Awesome, Kate! Just awesome!

Tia swerved. "You won't want to be doin' that, missy."
Without stopping to hear any distractions, Liz swung again, but the goddess was too quick. In an instant, the blinding gold light appeared around her, and then in a second, she was gone.
Oddly enough, it was Gibbs who found her first, flat on the ground.
"Ms. Liz, what on earth happened?"
"I had another run in with our Calypso," she said, dusting herself off. "I suppose it was a scare tactic."
"Did it work?" Gibbs eyed her. He knew Jack respected the young high-class lady, and therefore he did also.
"Not a chance." She smiled back at him. "Where is everyone else?"
"We're inside at the bar. We ran across an old acquaintance who claims to have the answer to our problem."
Gibbs led her inside the bar where she saw Jack, Will, Bill, and Mr. Grant facing her way, speaking to a man whose back was to her. Walking straight up to the stranger, she put her hand on his shoulder to turn him around.
"James Norrington!" she gasped. "Why?"
"There is a little matter of returning a heart to you and your company, Ms. Swann. My priorities have shifted somewhat," he said.
"You ought to call off Beckett and his guards," Will said with more than a hint of hostility.
"Mind your tongue, Mr. Turner. I have no authority over Beckett, and I never did. Besides, I'm not exactly an admiral anymore." He pushed up his shirt sleeve to reveal a P branded onto his forearm.
"Two of a kind then, mate?" Jack grinned. It was poetic justice in his mind.
"I have the heart of Davy Jones and I am betting Calypso will still find it valuable even if she still isn't in love with him. However, there are more people than just those of the East India Trading Company that want to see Jack dead."
"I know who they all are, but you tell me who you're describing," Jack ordered.
"A certain Captain Barbosa, who, after fulfilling his debt and retrieving you has decided he truly is a pirate and will not rest until he once again has the Black Pearl for himself. I can see them teaming up in the near future."
"Which means we have to use the heart before then," Bill said. Will had noticed his father didn't speak often, but when he did, it was important.

Carry on Willofthewisp 😄

Cut back to the Flying Dutchman

Davy: Jack this! Jack that! And now Bootstrap Bill is gone.
Creature: His heart never was into it, captain.
Davy: His cursed son. And that man. They will all have to pay, but Jack especially.
Creature: But, sir, what about Calypso? She guards Jack and is the only one who can kill him or harm him if she chooses.
Davy: What else can she do to me? How much more do I have to suffer? It may hurt her in the short run, but I can't stand it any longer. Jack Sparrow and the two William Turners must come back to the Dutchman, along with anyone who may try to protect them.

Cut back to Tortuga

Jack: And it's your word we'll be trusting?
Norrington: You can keep me in the brig if you feel it's necessary. I had to choose between two evils, and piracy is finally the lesser of the two.
Jack: Nice to see you finally come around (sarcastically) You heard the man, Mr. Gibbs. Throw the former commodore into the brig.
Gibbs: Jack! He's helping us.
Jack: And now he can help himself to whatever fine things we have in the brig.
G. Sparrow: Jack, even if you use this heart and destroy Davy Jones and the Flying Dutchman forever, that won't stop Tia Dalma from haunting you.
Bill: It would be better than nothing.
Will: I still don't understand, Jack. Why would she revive you only to come after you?
Jack (sighs): Because, son, she loves me.
Will: Then why would she really do anything that terrible to you?
Jack (getting tired of it all): Why don't you ask the bonny lass next to us why women do what they do? (rises and leaves the table)

Wow girls this is awesomee....thank you so much for bringing Norrington back - and him branded a Pirate, that's hot....Gosh if this were the real movie I would have fainted...I can just picture it all in my mind -

Thank you for bringing Norrington back to the good guys with heart in tack.....LOVE IT

Come on, now, we have to get rid of Calypso so Jack can be free to be with Liz - perhaps when they replace Davy Jones heart - he can kill her - and then himself.....but then what about Beckett....how do we resolve that problem and the chinese pirate and barboorsa - there are lots of more things to wrap up here....wish I could contribute but don't have the time...off to my work....

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH this is SOOOO HOTTT i LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!
Please please please DO GO ON!!!! 🙂

i have a few minutes so i cant help it....

Will glances at Liz, who is sitting quietly. After a moment she gets up and leaves.

Cut to Liz walking down the creaky stairs of the Pearl, to the brig where Norrington is. Norrington glances up wearily as she enters.

Norrington: Ms. Swann...
Elizabeth: James Norrington.
Norrington: We've both caused each other a lot of pain, havent we?

Elizabeth says nothing.

Norrington: Well, I gave Jack the heart. What more do you want?

Elizabeth remains silent, but moves steadily closer.

Norrington: (softer) Your father was also my friend. His death was not what I wanted. I didn't ever mean for things to come to that...

Elizabeth: I daresay you didn't. But you killed him.

Norrington: I deserve the pirate brand.

Elizabeth: On the contrary. You are not worthy of it.

And with that, Elizabeth draws her sword and runs Norrington through the heart. He falls to the ground, dead.

Hours later, Jack finds her, curled up on the deck. The rest of the crew are still having a breather in the bar, so they are alone.

Jack: ELizabeth... we've been looking for you.
Liz: Jack, come over here. I'm so cold...

Jack wearily wanders towards her, and then notices she is emotionally distraught. He kneels down and puts his arm around her.
Jack: I'm sorry about your father.
Liz: I took my revenge, Jack.

Their eyes meet, and Jack understands.

Jack: God be with his soul.
Liz: I'm not sorry.
Jack: I've heard that before, love.
Liz: I mean it this time.
Jack: I see.
Liz: Jack, do you despise me?
