god had spared my life at least three times. god brought FJ and i together.
(i can already feel people quoting me, questioning me) 😉
God has shown me peace inside that I could not have felt by myself....I am too emotional by nature. And he saved my father from three kinds of cancer (one of which was the most deadly kind), open heart surgery, and I dont know what all he has been through. He has brought my boyfriend out of the worst life ever. And most of all, he sent his son, Jeus Christ, to suffer and die so that we could be forgiven for our sins.

If you think Hitler is god, many people would not allow you to practice your religoni freely (say, wearing a swaztika around your neck)

If your religion says kill all infidels...or be polygamous...you do not have the right to do so against the laws of the nation.

i still see no conflict here. do me a favor and point it out to me.

the hitler thing, i have no idea why you posted it.

The freedom of religion concept does not allow you to do whatever you believe in the name of your religion.

Bill of rights:

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise therof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peacefully to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Then, you might want to inform congress that polygamy should be legalized because it is a religious practice.

Slavery should be re-allowed because the bible says that its legal.

Well said, if we as Americans choose to live in this society we must ably by the rule of law.

Yes...hence my point....

You have the right to choose a religon, but you do NOT have the right to practice your beliefs if they conflist with other laws of society.

Where does it say that?

i never said you did have that right. i never said that if your religion called for sacrificing babies you had the right to do so.

Alliance have you been reading the Bible again?? 😱 😂 😘

Read Leviticus...sorry I don't remember the passage...and the only Bible i have on hand is my roomates Catholic bible and he's very touchy about it (and not here).

You'll learn lots of things, liek how to stay away from menstrating women, how to fight mildew, rules for slavery, lots of reasons to stone people, and how many types of people need to say away from the altar of god (like those with poor eyesight).

......That is catholic......The only bibles I have ever read are King James Version, and the New International Version...

You do realise that the Catholic bible isn't really all that different from any other type of Bible?

From what I have heard....It is way different......

In what sense? Catholics are Christians who follow the same Bible all other Christians follow.

Doctrinal/interpretive differences set them apart.
