What has God done for you? (Christians only!)

Liekly, but based on the same. The message is as sure as hell the same...but....it might be in Exodus. Both those books are great if you want to realise how little fundamentalist religion should mean in modern life.

I think the Bible is a poor excuse of a book, considering all the writing flaws in it.

Well...ok.

I think it's over rated though...it's just a book.

😆 I meant to say that it was changed repeatedly.

God has improved my life greatly.

Jesus's teachings give me a reason to live and to help make the world a better place

Buddha has done the same for many people. 😉

Oprah has giving me inspiration as well.

So had Mother Teresa, Angelina Jolie, and other humanitarian workers. I admire them, but I don't worship them.

So without Jesus you have no reason to live? Life itself is not good enough without someone to bow down to ?

Im not saying that, im saying Jesus gives me a higher purpose in life.

Why are so hellbent on trying to destroy people's faiths?!? 🤨

Espeically when those faiths focus on making the world a better place?!?

I am not bent on destroy people's Faiths. What you believe is your business and right.

I am asking you, what is your life without Jesus ? And what do you think my life is, knowing that i don't beleive ?

And no, not all those Faiths focus on making the world a better place, for everyone, they only focus on an "ideal" that wouldn't work for everybody.

Without Jesus, I would probobly be miserable.

I once rejected my faith in god. My life was awful then.

God makes my life feel complete

Then I can only encourage that you keep Jesus in your life. As for me, I am happy with myself...my life is dependent on what I do, and who I allow into it.

Honestly, my entire life dosent revolve around God and whanot.

But I base many of the decisions I make off of Jesus's teachings

That's fine. I have no problem with that. What I do have a qualm with is the fact that you actually beleive that those who do not share your Faith will also go to Hell ,even though in the other thread you admitted that the Bible is full of flaws.

I had a very very troubled life and like today, I got more into my religion and myself. I have changed alot and became very opened minded and done good things. My past has been bad, but I am trying to change the past and have the present be the rest of what I am am.

Thank you God 🙂

Jesus is the only reason I didnt kill myself. I was going through an unbearable time....I have many pocket knives all are very sharp. It would have been so easy to just cut my wrist. My bf had his chance to kill himself as well he even had the gun to his head and the voice of God and only God told him not to. He choose not to and now his life is so much better.

I couldnt sleep last night....I felt like time was running out and Jesus was coming soon very soon.......Time is running out I know it deep down I can feel that he is coming soon. very soon.......Any other christians feel that way?

Sounds to me like you were at a point where you felt everything was gone so you latched onto religion as a lifeboat. You then "hear the voice of God" and have an andless series of sefl-fulfilling religous tenats.

All I am going to say to that is that it isnt true.
