OHHHHHHH I didn't click on your link..........hahaha...........Yes, I've studied Decompression sickness since I am also a diver.......Just never called it bent........lol That's why you're supposed to take a resting break about every 5 feet or so on your ascent.

I also dive...you don't have to break every five feet...just keep you asenceion slow and take a 3 min safety stop at 15 feet....and do exceed your tables.

DCS is called "the bends" in slang/common terms. If are showing signs of DCI, you are referred to as "bent."

Never new the word bent............though we were taught to just float about every 5 feet of so, though I could be wrong it could be more like 15 feet, but I thought not.....OK, lets agree on 10 feet....I don't pay much attention anyway.........I'm lucky I got my card................lol
