No, no, look, it doesn't make sense because ...because...wow, I can't count the ways in which it doesn't work..can someone point it otu to her?
It's just another view.........one that would save more people...

I never said that though.......I'm just talking about the people on the boat..The people on the boat WILL be saved. Any people not in the boat will have to be on their own. They may or maynot survive.
Yeah, then they might survive, fair enough....what does it matter?
If you are already making stupid threads lets keep the little sense they had...

It's 5° Celsius...
Well that would make a difference.
Are we talking Titanic??? If so, then swimmers will die of hypothermia.....
Yet, I never did say where the boat was....

Yet, yet, yet...**** the yet...state the correct terms. Do it. Now.
Titanic has been done already....This is a different scenario.

This whole endeavour is faulty. Why does the unemployed man contribute nothing? Who says he isn't an unemployed doctor?
What if the 'single man' is unemployed?
That is what I was saying. There are a number of people on their whose descriptions don't give me the required info to make a decision on their behalf - hence why so many are drawing straws. The unemployed person being one. And the leader of a country - I mean, if this leader an ex soldier and a loved, inspirational leader? Or is he some withered 80 year old who hasn't done anything more then be a figure head for 40 years?
Now, what if you could fit 22 in the boat if you went by size and weight alone....More people to save. Would that matter??
Do you mean if I only put the little people on their, regardless of their skills or "moral" status I could save more? Well, it might be an incentive, but it strike me as useless if I am filling the boat with children and a dog with no skill or hope of managing a boat in the middle of the ocean.

I can assure you that is not the reason why I'd draw straws.
True, but on my version of the boat people draw straws for the reasons I want. You are free to draw straws as you wish on your boat.
Hmmm.... Maybe our life boats will meet in the ocean, and our little sea communities will go to war.
