The Official Magneto Respect Thread

That is really impressive. Even Fraction with this old man bullshit cannot hold Magneto down. Magnus has always been one of the best energy manipulators out there so it's not so surprising, but with this state his apparently in right now, that's pretty damn impressive.

Magneto's feat from Uncannt Xmen #521

After sitting on a mountaintop for over 24 hours, and preventing any physical or telepathic contact with him, we find out what Magneto has been doing.

Moving a planet destroying bullet that is light years away (it's been travelling faster than light for months), in his 'weakened state' is insanely impressive.

And if I recall, that bullet got denser and denser the further it traveled, and it was already tough enough to destroy Earth from the moment it was launched. That makes the feat even more impressive. That is, if I'm recalling it right.

that Magneto vs Proteus match was the stuff.
notable there too is Magneto's helmet was good
enough to keep Proteus out of his head, and this
feat was reinforced by his own willpower, even after
the helmet was shattered. i would be really stoked
if Carey took on mags for an arc and gave him the
spit and polish like he's done with Xavier and Rogue.
Mike knows how to show TLC, and fairness no matter who
he's writing.

Magneto kicking ass in Necrosha (from X-Force #22).

Somebody should post Magneto getting Kitty's bullet on Earth from light years away, separating her from it while in her phased state and then apparently using a wormhole to send the bullet back into space.

If not, I'll do it one of these days.

What comic and issue is this from:

Since Spiderman doesn't usually shot blast from his hands, nor does he fight Magneto I'd assume its when he had the captain universe during the "Acts of Vengeance saga"

whats the most powerful version of magneto ?

I think that was a fake one, but I think Magneto could do that to the real one nonetheless.

Bad ass.

The all-out war has started, with Magneto facing Doom right at the center of it - his shields withstanding Doom's assault.

Mags gets proper respect. This feat is a bit outlandish, but considering it's magneto, it's just another piece to add to his already impressive, impressive feats

Sinister did some nonsense with Tiamut and flew away with Tiamut's head. This is causing the celestial's body to destabilize/decompose into "battle bots" (the blasts from these battle bots are capable of blowing off emma's arm in diamond form)

situation is rapidly deteriorating as "micro-celestials" breaking down from the battle-bots. the x-lab tells them what's going on.

magnus uses his powers to forcibly reconstitute tiamut's shell from the "micro-celestials." So, from tiamut the battle-bots formed, and from the battle-bots, the micro celestials. He's put them all back together.

Scott is really impressed. What has Magneto done exactly?

He's effectively turned himself into Tiamut's nervous system youpi

That's was real jobbing but I don't even care, I love me a well written Magneto.

Which is a bigger feat? Mags controlling a world busting bullet made of alien metal a galaxy away? Or acting as a nervous system for a freaking Celestial...jeez this x-team is loaded with power....

hmm, looks like one of the scans got deleted by mistake.

This is the 3rd scan in the sequence. There should have been 4 scans total.
