In New Mutants circa issue 33, Storm defeats the entire New Mutant team all by herself when she was powerless and they had their powers. They were evil and under Shadow King's control and ganged up on her all at once. She won!

Actually, it was a "lightning bolt" created by removing electrons from her body, their violent return dispersed her (remember, she's made of energy, and was already beginning to fall apart before the electrons returned). And she wasn't beaten, rather, dissipated for less than 10 seconds.

As I've been saying, Ororo has SUB-ATOMIC control of weather phenomena. She can rob energy of Electrons.
