As I said before, there are severe differences between the two concepts. there are also some similarities...but I wouldn't say they both are to the same extend racist, since affirmative action is really, really racist while Old Boys Networks are about all members of a certain group. You might say that the groups that create Old Boys Networks are racist, but I don't know how that is realistically to look at, since Old Boys Networks usually don't give out the data on the races of their members.
