Blade's mentor Jamal Afari tought him how to deal with vampires....and he was a human.
Originally posted by OneDumbG0Not sure. It never went into that much detail. But I'd bet he told him how to deal with that sort of thing.

^ By telling Blade to attack him and show him how hard a vampire hits? Stop reaching.Regardless, what you do know is that Thing was teaching the Initiative recruit noobs a class on how to deal with Class-100 opponents and instructed everyone to attack him.

The most recent memories of Simon I have are him getting kayoed by a brick, kayoed by a pumpkin bomb, and getting kayoed by Korg. What did Marvel do to the character?
The brick incident wasn't that bad. Ares hit him from behind and I don't think he was completely unconscious.
The pumpkin thing is rather bad, but the Korg showing isn't that low. Korg is pretty damn strong under Pak. I'd say he'd give Colossus a pretty damn good run for his money and I would not be surprised at all if Pak had him defeat Colossus.
Of course Thor beat like half a dozen members of Korg's race like they owed him money in his first appearance. But Thor is well, Thor.

I'd say Simon is due for a big push or something.
Yea I'd say he is. Especially since Thor is back on the Avengers. With him there if they still have his shtick as being nearly as strong as Thor, then his bound to be portrayed pretty impressively. Or at least as a clear and established Class 100. He can mooch off Thor's reputation.
Of course, even when he was supposed to be Thor's near equal to the point there shouldn't even be any noticeable difference between the two back in his purple energy form during Avengers Vol. 3 the gap between them was pretty damn big at times. There's also the chance that Busiek simply didn't like him.

korg is better than the majority of his race
he is the last
so if you were insinuating thor would beat korg a recongisable kronan as easily as he did fellow kronans u'd be wrong
under pak he may provide thor a good fight aswell

Prove it.
Yes I'm insinuating just that because Korg was part of the group of Kronan's that Thor beat the shit out of. He even references him being chased away along with his brothers by Thor when he was telling the Warbound his story.
No he would not. Shit, under Pak he'd probably faint if meet the real Thor.
