It is what he said, but as you left out most of the post, you edited the post. Not what he said, but the post itself.

He did take it out of context though. And he edited the full post. So it's an edited quote..he didn't change the words but the quote is indeed edited.

There's no such thing as an "edited quote" an edited quote is no longer a quote, he took the words directly from the author without changing them. Therefor it's still a quote. Context has nothing to do with the fact it's a quote or not.

No it isn't.
Editing requires someone to directly change or incorporate something that isn't relevant or parallel to the primary source. I took what was from the primary source and stated it. There is a pure difference between the two.
