I did not delete the majority, it still exists upon a differential level. The post was not changed, only a small portion of it was shown once again. This is not editing. Editing would be changing. Nothing was changed, only parts were shown.

Anything other than showing the full post is editing it, because you are leaving parts out.

And I'd say that quoting three words of a three-line post is cutting out the majority of it.
