You do realize the rarity of a fossil being formed right? I'm sure you had pets as a child; did they turn into fossils after they died and you buried them? No, the corpses most likely broke-down and disintegrated. If everything turned into a fossil, we couldn't dig a vegetable garden without unearthing a bone, feather or scale, considering the amount of living things that have died over the millenia; yes, even if you foolishly believe in that '6k year old Earth' nonsense.
As far as the mistakes and/or hoaxes you posted, that happens, when they are discovered, they are corrected. Can the religious community claim the same integrity?
