but in all seriousness it is a mix of both the ineptitude of society to uncover the truth, the lack of knowledge and poor education system, and a complex government good at keeping secrets and spreading misinformation

Yes, but that is still us.

See Marsupial.

Here's a good question: Why is it that people can't seem to accept the posibility that God (or what ever higher power you choose to believe in) utilised concepts of what we refer to as evolution in the creation of this world.

And before anyone quotes Genesis to me (JesusIsAlive) just remember this: The Hebrew word that is translated into "Day" in the Bible can be portrayed as several different words of phrases (all speaking of passages of time) infact, one of the translations is roughly this: a period of time.

Many do. You just won't find them too often in this thread. The topic polarizes people, so it's generally the extremes that make themselves heard (i.e. evolution/no God or creation/God). Those who perceive less of a conflict between the ideas will not feel as inclined to pipe up in what they see as a non-issue.

Evolution.

Evolution contradicts the Bible; hence, the two are incompatible.

According to the Scriptures God created Adam and Eve (apparently fully mature). In addition, the creatures that God created were also fully mature.

Moreover, all species of life produce according to their kind (just like the Bible states).

Isn't that just a fancy way of saying that humans make humans, rabbits make rabbits, etc. etc. Did we really need the Bible to tell us that? And is it really an achievement to be correct about such an obvious thing?

Where does the Bible say that it created every species, every possible combination of animal that will ever exist at the same time? Why would God create birds that do not fly, mammals that lay eggs and so on and so on? Again you show your lack of understanding what you are even talking about.

*sigh*

Correction:

Evolution contradict the literal interpretation of the Bible.
