My bad. I should clarify that I meant that no physical relationship started until after highschool (not necessarily sex, just meeting...but, apparently, I'm even wrong about that), which is what the Law enforces in most states. 17 is the legal age of consent in Texas so was still acceptable in both situations you mention and both of you were over 18 when things got...steamy. 🙂
But that means one of two things, which contradicts one assumption I had of you:
1. You were held back a year because you were 18 when you met him for the first time.
2. You were put into school late by one year (which is common) because you were 18 when you met him for the first time.
I just took for granted, since you are smart/educated, that you had already graduated before you met him in the fall/winter. John may not realize it, but I can create real facts that were never told to me from facts that were told to me (aggregate information creates a holistic picture using logical connections.) He keeps pretty nill on facts about his past relationships when we shoot the shit...simply out of respect for his exes. It's like pulling teeth with him...but I have my ways of tricking him into telling me more than just the face value of information presented. heh heh heh
