I never said I don't find her attractive. Rather I am saying I would feel weird to see the picture with what obviously looks like self cutting..and just go "you're hot".
Why would I feel weird? Because I feel like I should be taking something more from that picture other than "you are attractive".
Originally posted by SurturI see your general point. But to me stuff like that is an indicator that someone might not be happy with themselves or their body, so I'd opt just to let them know they look good, I guess. They already know they have scars/cuts, pointing it out like Jman did isn't going to be any big shock to them and could make them feel uncomfortable. srug

Gens himself has had issues with self-injury so it also makes sense for him to instantly see past that and just see the person, same goes for me. I've known a lot of people who have done it, and for so many different reasons, so maybe that's also got something to do with it, I dunno.
I just think if comments about it would make someone uncomfortable they probably wouldn't choose to post a picture with the cuts clearly visible.
As for letting her know she looks good..well okay, that is fine I suppose. Though I would ask you that if you saw a pic without the cuts would you of felt she was the kind of girl that hasn't heard she is pretty very much?
The point of the picture was to show off my new dress and that I looked kinda like Wednesday Adams as my friends had said. Yeah, I have scars, no, I don't care Bout cover in up my legs because I'm sick of hiding them.
It does make me uncomfortable when they are brought up, much less the first thing people notice, much like how thin I am.

Well I apologize if you were made to feel uncomfortable. I somewhat know how you feel though when it comes to scars being the first thing people notice, though mine are surgical scars.

I specifically remember offering you a burger

Untrue. I'm 5'4'' and 86lbs. I wear clothes that cover it, but I'm quite underweight
I don't think you could even tell.
Looked healthy to me.
In that case, yeah, you should eat more.
HOWEVER, apparently Eugenia Cooney isn't even anorexic, and you weigh a lot more then her.
