Suddenly, they begin to hear muffled explosions around the island.
Jack: Oh bugger. Lizzie must have set them off already...
Will: Quick! To the volcano!!!
Jack, Jackie, Will, Kate, and Mr. Gibbs all run toward the volcano, which is actually pretty close (hey, this is a movie 😉). Steam is rising from it, but no lavva as of yet.
Jack: Allright mates, I'm going in. (turns to Will seriously) Will, I want you to go find Elizabeth. Make sure she's safe, and doesn't do something stupid on behalf of us, allright>?
Will: I will, Jack.
Jack: The rest of you better meet me back at the Pearl. Oh, and Kate... since you seem to be rather sneaky and clever, you better find Abi and Norrington and make sure they get on the boat as well. Savvy?
Kate: I'll do my best.
Jack: If you fail, it's no problem. Keep to the code.
With that, Jack ties a rope to a rock and swings down into the steaming volcano.
Meanwhile, tremors are occuring all over the island. Pieces of the island have already begun to break off, due to the explosions happening underneath where Elizabeth put the gunpowder...
As Jack lowers himself into the volcano, he hears an eerie singing. Glancing through the fog, he sees an old withered man at the bottom.
Jack: Oy! You there!
Old Man: Jack Sparrow. Always around during a disastor, eh?
Jack: I just need a bit more of your mortality mix, mate. It's important.
Old Man: Its always important with you. But first answer me this: why are you blowing up my island?
Jack: Er... well... we got kidnapped by the cursed tribe, and it was sort of our escape plan.
Old Man: I'm terribly offended. I would have set you all loose.
Jack: We're kind of in a rush, you see.
Old Man: If your father hadn't saved me life so many times, I'd kill ye!
Jack: Yes well, he did... so if you'll hand over the vial I'll be on me way.
Old Man: Damn you, Jack Sparrow.
However, the old man does produce a small vial and hand it to Jack.
Jack: You're a diamond, mate. Hopefully the island holds together for you.
At that moment, the ground under Jack's feet splits and seawater begins rushing in. More tremors. The island is definately breaking apart.
Jack: Time to go!
Jack swings up on his rope, leaving the old dude to shout after him. By the time Jack has reached the surface, the volcano has filled with water. He sees the Pearl floating closer in the distance, and swims towards it.
meanwhile on the other side of the island abi and nori are found by kate
kate:we hate to get back to the ship
abi:what? where is everybody
kate:jack is in a volcano , will is off on a serch for elizabeth and gibbs and jacky have gone to ready the ship.
nori:why must we leave in such an rush?
kate:elizabeth has set explosions all over the island! Havent you heard them?
nori:yes
abi:yes
kate:then lets get .........
pygmie man: you are not going anywhere
kate: (pulls out 2 swords and throws one to abi) on the contrary sir we are leaveing
THEY FIGHT
abi kills the pygmie and the trio runs off to the pearl.
