Um. Isn't killing someone else murder?

Depends on the situation and circumstances, but generally yes. I was being sarcastic - in terms of those stories God premeditated and acted. They would certainly be murder - but for some reason they don't count with God.

of course... bad deeds are not God's fault they are the devils... so I guess he must have been influenced by the devil when he made those things happen... 😛

Except god made the devil and givs him his power...so...yeah.

Only you would start a thread like this. 😆 The problem is, most of us don't, and people aren't very good at changing their beliefs. ermm

By your logic, if I came to your house and stuck an axe in your skull, you should still be alive. Shame. 🙁

1. You believe in the bible, a Christian "rule book" if you will.
2. You also believe the peole in the Bible, John, Matthew, so on... Which is more than one person.
3. You do follow a sinful person, because Jesus wasn't baptised.
4. All christians follow Jesus like you, you are no different.
5. Do you even know what the word [b]Christ
ian means? [/B]

And I thought we was boyz. Anyhoo. Let me first start off by saying that "baptism" has a symbolic significance. However, baptism has nothing to do with salvation from sin. Certain religious cults, I mean sects believe that baptism is a mechanism whereby people attain salvation and that it must accompany one's profession of faith in Jesus Christ. But is this "truly" what the Bible teaches. Mark chapter 16 verse 16 states,

Mark 16:16
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

Notice that the second clause omits the word baptism in reference to being condemned. The first sentence states that he who believes and is baptized will be saved. This would seem to create the impression that baptism is essential for salvation. But the word baptism is not included in the very next part of the verse. In short, if baptism was necessary for salvation then it should have been mentioned in connection with not believing. In other words if failure to get baptized leads to condemnation then the last part of that verse should read like this:

"...but he who does not believe and is not baptized will be condemned.

Then we could say without a doubt that baptism and belief are required components to being saved. In conclusion, baptism is not a requirement for salvation from sin although the Lord Jesus did command His followers to be baptized as a means of identifying ourselves with His death, burial, and resurrection. The Book of Romans (a Book of the Bible) mentions us being buried "with Jesus Christ" in baptism. Again, baptism is symbolic. The whole submerging of a person as they lay prone underwater (symbolic of death and burial to sin) then raising them up (symbolic of resurrection from the dead and of sin to a new life in Christ Jesus). So if you have asked Jesus Christ to save you from your sins then you should get baptized to be in compliance of God's Word.

There are other Scriptures that seem to contradict what I have said but I don't have the time at this moment to explain those verses in light of what the Bible truly reveals about baptism.

Now to refute your comment about Jesus not being baptized. Xyz, according to the Bible (God's holy Word), the Lord Jesus Christ was baptized. He just did it to fulfill all righteousness (in other words to set the example for His followers. But baptism does not save a person from their sins. I just explained that earlier in this post.) Here is the Bible reference of Jesus' baptism:

Matthew 3:13-17
13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. 14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?”
15 But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.
16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

So there you have it Jesus the Christ was baptized by John the Baptist.

Oh, and Xyz, don't ever insult my Lord by saying that He was a sinful Person because He was not, is not, and will never be a sinner. Thank you.

John 8:46
46 Which of you convicts Me [the Lord Jesus Christ] of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me

2 Corinthians 5:21
21 For He made Him [the Lord Jesus Christ] Who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Hebrews 4:15
15 For we do not have a High Priest [the Lord Jesus Christ] who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

1 Peter 2:22
22 “ Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;

1 John 3:5
5 And you know that He [the Lord Jesus Christ] was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.

Lets recap Xyz. According to these Scriptures contained in the Bible the Lord Jesus Christ could not be convicted of sin; He knew no sin, is yet without sin, committed no sin, and in Him there is no sin. Wow, every base is covered. If you say that perhaps Jesus may not be convicted of sin but maybe He still committed sin the Bible refutes that. If you say that Jesus may not have committed sin but perhaps there is sin in Him, the Bible refutes even that. If you say that Jesus may not have sin in Him but perhaps He was acquainted with sin the Bible says that Jesus was without sin. So then if you allege that Jesus committed no sin, in him there is no sin, and He is without sin but maybe, just maybe He knew a little sin here-ra and there-ra, yes, the Bible even refutes that saying: "He knew no sin." So then as a last ditch effort you claim that Jesus committed no sin, in Him there is no sin, He is without sin, but hopefully He could be convicted--of sin (aha, you say!). Jesus Himself asked the scribes, Pharisees, and Jews, "Which of you convicts Me of sin?" Sorry bro, according to the Bible (God's holy Word/Book) Jesus couldn't even be convicted of sin. Every base is covered. Jesus had to be sinless to qualify as the Savior of the world. If the Lord Jesus was a sinner, then His blood and sacrifice on the cross to redeem and save us from sin's eternal consequence would have been useless as me getting up on the cross to die for the world's sin. But the Lord Jesus' blood is holy (efficacious, pure, and sinless). That is why the Lord Jesus is the (only) Way, the Truth, and the Life. Jesus is the only Way to God. All other folks are pretenders and imposters.

Sounds like a threat to me. Looks like John is asking for a beatdown.

I believe this refers to the status quo of a non-believer.

Also, phrases like: Gods Wrath, Everlasting life, and God generally have double meanings.

God seems to have a lot more wrath to deal out than Satan.

Once again noble forum buddy thanks for your intelligent, analytical reply. I value your point of view. But what do you mean by a true life?

Seek atonement (at-one-ment), or know fear in separation.
