It sounds like a threat. Be one of us or we will kill you. Is that from the Koran?

More of a warning, I'd say.

I'd rather not suffer a dirty Sanchez, but I thank you for the offer.

sounds like a familiar Christian one.

That would probably because it is a familiar Christian one. Being that it comes from the Bible. Upon which Christianity is founded.

It didn't sound like a warning to me. It sounds like something Osama Bin Lodan would say.

They are all frauds.

I'd suggest you'd get your ears--or in this case, eyes--checked, then.

Generally, one does not require a check-up of one's sensory organs when they are functioning correctly.

exactly why you have me confused as to why he needs a check up.

Lets brake it down.

John 3:36
He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life" = we will not kill you.

"and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” = we will kill you in god's name.

How more simple can that be.

It could say.."kill all infidels"

I'll break it down in a more correct manner.

"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life" = you will have immortality, living in paradise and in the splendor of majesty and God.

"and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." = the wrath of God is coming and I am here to tell you so that you have the opportunity to avoid it and have everlasting life.

I already have immortality in reincarnation, and God is the reason I live. So why would God be made at me?

aren't "the people of (your) god" supposed to carry out "his" will?

God's not mad at you. God just happens to be just, and in being just, He punishes evil. Unfortunately for us, humans happen to be evil. Fortunately for us, we have been given a sacrifice to cleanse us of our taint.

Only when directly ordered. God's in charge of judgment, not me.
