God is both good and evil just like us. Your logic is flowed.

No, God is good. Your own logic is flawed.

No. Its not.

There is no "good and evil"

All things are part of God and evil and good are only terms we put to things in life. One man's good is another mans evil and visa versa.

or... "good" and "evil" are meaningless.

Yes, there is.

Except God has set rules and objective standards in place that we would know what is right and wrong rather than relying on our own flawed ideas.

Only a fool believes that his god trumps his intellect.

If gods existed, and gave man intellect, then why would "god" in his all "goodness" and crap like that, want man to forego the use of his intellect.

Remember FeceMan, I don't believe in hell, or the devil, or the original sin, or the divinity of Jesus, or the separation of God from us.

Sorry but someone has lied to you.

...and to you Shakya 😉

God doesn't want us not to use our intellect, but He also knows that we've been tainted by sin and suffer from a permanent moral dysfunction.

Then I guess we're at a standoff.

(PS. You don't)

Are we born into sin? Yes.
Do we do evil things? Yes.
Do we justify evil actions? Yes.
Do we twist and convolute the ideas of 'right' and 'wrong' and 'good' and 'evil' until we're so locked into a tangled web of confused semantics and (quite frankly) horseshit that we decide we can't say something is in one of the four categories listed? YES.

Are we born into sin? No. Tabula Rasa. If you think you ar born sinful, that is your personal beleif...nothing more

Do we do evil things? Likely.

Do we justify evil actions? Of course. Everyone justifies their actions.

Do we twist and convolute the ideas of 'right' and 'wrong' and 'good' and 'evil' until we're so locked into a tangled web of confused semantics and (quite frankly) horseshit that we decide we can't say something is in one of the four categories listed?

Yes, simply because in the modern world, people are intelligent enough (well, many people) to realize that they are not the only person in the world, and that a persons inability to put themselves in anyone elses shoes...makes that person an idiot.

Intelligent people also realize that "good" and "bad" are 2-year-old words that don't really mean anything. Its just a perspective. If you think the world is in black and white...you're colorblind.

Yeh have just proven my point.

Jesus Christ (the Son of God) is the only Person who died "without" committing sin. The Bible is clear: the wages of "sin" is death. That means that unless you have sinned, then you are not subject to death. What did God tell Adam? God basically said this (God's Words paraphrased): "if you sin (disobey my Word) then you shall surely die." And guess what: Adam died after he disobeyed God. But Jesus never sinned. Of all the people down through the ages of history that have been crucified none of those people--not even one person--could say that they had never sinned. But Jesus said, "which of you convicts me of sin?" Jesus never sinned yet He was crucified. How? How could a sinless Man die? It is simple, here is the answer:

John 10:17-19
17 “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

Powerful...simply powerful. There isn't a person alive or dead that can say those words and actually make good on them. Jesus is the only Man (or person) that had the power to lay His life down (actually permit others to kill Him) and the power to take it again. That is what separates Jesus from every other religious liar, I mean leader in every other religion. Jesus allowed others to do all of the things that were done to Him. Then with a loud voice Jesus shouted, "it is finished!" When Jesus died the earth quaked, rocks were split and graves were opened. Many bodies of the saints who had died were raised (from the dead). Also when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, "truly this was the Son of God!"

That dark blue is PAINFUL on KMC black.
