NBA discussion thread

Entertaining game all in all and it was good to see them all having fun out there. But when the 4th quarter came round you could see the real competitors stopped smiling and wanted the win. LeBron played like he wanted the MVP from the start. I dont think i've ever seen him start off the game shooting like that, he and Kobe switched roles for a game. Good to see Shaq and Kobe laughing together again, for a sentimental Laker fan that was definitely a highpoint.
Moves of the game: T-Mac's windwill jam, Bosh's lob to Carter, LeBron's switching right to left hand lay in, Kobe's reverse cross over dribble and fade away and Shaq alley oop to himself off the free throw (even i found that funny).
Very entertaining weekend, what did you guys think?

Alright, chalk up another spot in history for Lebron James. MVP! The whole game I was hoping for East to come back so he could steal the trophy from McGrady. Probably especially disappointing for McGrady due to the fact that a big part of the steal was LeBron's uncalled foul on McGrady. Plays like that are what separates a lot of fans. and then there are people like me there to remind everyone how the pistons and there defense starting the rally for the east to comeback and win it 🙂 ...i was disappointed billups didnt get more minutes because i wanted him to challenge lebron for MVP, but thats just wishful thinking on my part...dunk contest was awesome but iggy did get robbed, bummed that biillups didn't even make it past the 1st round in 3 pont contest but it was nice to see norowtski win it just because he hasnt won it before......but the best part of all-star weekend is listening to barkley, they dude cracks me up, i was dying when he seen damon jones is outfit and his reaction was classic, something i would have done if i was in his shoes

Coaches never like their players to wear out during all-star games. Thats why Dirk and Detroit got limited minutes.

i know that, ive known that for a long time... i mean when he comes back, and possibly goes in it again. i didnt say next season, or this years dunk off, did i....?

vince carter had a dissapointment performance to say the least compared to what he can do... about the dunks, i think he needs to calm down just a little bit because he is dunking just a little bit too hard for the rims. it happens sometimes, i mean...i remember kobe missing a wide open dunk on a breakaway, and mj missing it in the all star game 2 years ago wide open too, it happens. it was good to see that vince played in the final minutes...shows that he is finally getting some recognition. the player introductions for the east were jkz. shaq is a joker, he hit it off the backboard and dunked it when he was supposed to shoot his second free throw. lol. this all star game was entertaining in terms of the fancy plays where the players just put on a show for the crowd, in large part because of vince because his role is to do something amazing which he didnt really look to do in this years all star game, and when he had the opportunity he messed up. either way, saturday night was amazing, andre iguodala and nate robinson ( who looks A LOT like 50 cent, c for urself) put on a hell of show.

Agree with you about the Piston D, poor old Gasol got stuffed badly by Big Ben.
After listening to the broadcasters for TNT i wish i could trade BSPN in for it. Kenny, Chuck and Magic had me in stitches when ever they opened their mouths. They are so much more fun that Screamin A Smith and Tim Legler on BSPN, Greg Anthony is cool but thats about it.
Damon Jones should not have been allowed courtside wearing that clown suit he had on, that dude is such a tool. Ya think Barkley wouldnt give anything for a night with Beyonce? He was practically salivating whenever she was on screen.

i too was drooling over beyonce, i'm not the best lookin man in the world by no means, but shit, even i'm better lookin than Jay-Z..in fact i bet everyone who post is better lookin than Jay-Z and i don't even know what anyone looks like....when you see Jay-Z and Beyonce togethor you think "if its based on looks and they ever break up i have a shot!!"

I know. I just direct things at myself for humor sometimes. Jay-Z looks like he holds a magnifying glass in front of his mouth where ever he goes. He is like a black male version of Angelina Jolie, which isn't good.
