I wouldn't call Morrison an excellent shooter, I agree his game is better all around, he can go inside and out, but when it comes to shooting the ball, Reddick has him beat hands down...I never heard of that Bargnani, he might be good he might not, Kwame Brown was also compared to Shaq, and we all know how that worked

Morrison is an excellent shooter. Trust me man, he is. I watch college ball ALL the time, and a lot of Morrison's game. He is a great shooter. Reddick is a better shooter, but Morrison is still great.

I'm not saying anything about Bargnani, I'm just saying what they are saying about him.

WAHOO GO SUNS!!! Boris Diaw FTW! Nach was great during the last 3 minutes also.

I think the reason the Lakers executed their gameplan so well (except for the later stages in the series) was because of Phil. He makes sure everyone is on the same page and that they stick to the gameplan and it worked until the Suns made some minor adjustments.
1. The Suns started to double the post and force the pass out, which exposed our lack of outside shooters. That also plays into the Suns hands because it usually means long rebounds.
2. They started to run the Nash/Diaw pick and roll more. This is a really hard play to defend because if the big man shows on the pick then Nash is great at threading the needle to the roller. If you switch then its a mismatch and Diaw has an uncontested shot from the post up. Finally if you let Nash go then he's in the lane and creating havoc. Its a simple play but very effective because of Nash's creativity and vision, much like when Stockton & Malone used to run it.
I think the Mavs best chance at defending Nash is to stay home and let him score, one player cant beat a team especially when thats not really his game. Make Nash work on the defensive end and let him score rather than create for others on offense, i guess if it was that easy the Suns would be fishing by now though.

Well i"ve definetly seen Reddick more than i have Morrison, Only seen Morrison play a handful of times and he impressed more with his tenacity, and inside/outside game than he did his shooting, but i'll take you're word for it......I knew what you meant about Bargnani, I was just stating the obvious

why dont teams seem to be able to go inside against the suns? i think mainly its hard when you're playing a fast paced team because your natural instinct is to run back at them faster. it takes a great deal of patience and control to slosly take the ball up and take it inside after shawn marion has just dunked, esopecially when it qutetens the crowd. most teams want to take it back at them to get the crowd back in the game.

which is why i have respet for the lakers. it made kwame look like a decent center. whether he can capitalise and become that player next year is another thing. fair play to the suns they are HARD to stop. doesnt matter how good your defence is they'll find points. nash deserving mvp

wow....that george burns lookin ref tryed pretty hard to help miami come back at the end of the game there.....but Detroit won nonetheless, Prince was awesome...Rasheed needs to be more active down low, and Billups still needs to recapture his MVP form, Detroit does those things, and plays 48 minutes(thats the big one) of Detroit basketball and they should have no problem stealing one in Miami, WHOOOOO!!!...Detroit Baby Detroit.....and lets go Phoenix...Go Phoenix Go....Go Phoenix Go..Go Phoenix Go!!

I can not believe the game was even close at all. The Heat played horrible the whole game, yet it still went down to the final seconds. Even when we played good, we played bad lol. And for that one no time-out call, that was Prince's fault. Sure he did call time out, but he did not say it loud at all and didn't signal with the 'T'. Princes words "I said it lous as can be. You can look at the tape." Yeah right, he said it like he was in an everyday conversation. And that is gonna be hard to hear with all the fans. He didn't signal with his hands the 'T' too. You are taught when saying time-out to signal and say it as loud as you can. Didn't effect the outcome of the game though so it doesn't really matter.

I expect the Heat to play better, but the Pistons also.

GO SUNS!

I said he think it was loud enough....The referee at the end of the game apologozed to him, so right there is acknowledgement of the refs mistake, but to be fair, without audio you can;t tell if for sure, and i haven't seen a replay yet with audio

Damn. Damn damn damn. I called it. Blazers get the worst record and still don't get the #1 pick. Fourth pick? F*cking 4th pick? We got better than that last year.

Then the end of that damn Suns game. F*ck again.

Come on Heat! Come on Mavs! Come on Blazers, don't make another poor decision (Because getting Webster and Jack were totally better than taking Pierce when the Celts were practically giving him away 🙄 ).

haha myth... sorry the raps stole the 1st pick... i was hoping the blazers would get second but fourth it is. i dont think it will matter too much, from what i've heard places 1-6 will all have similar players, and that theres been not one standout player.

Greg Oden will be the next draft pick that everyone will be fighting over, the dude is a monster and still in high school i believe. Check his bio out, its scary.

Much better energy from the Pistons, especially Big Ben. He and Prince were awesome, i havent seen that many Piston games this season and Prince has impressed me with his offense (i already knew about his defense). The Heat played a poor 2nd half and still almost got back into it (guess i was wrong about that to, i think i might give up trying to analyse these games). 😮

Wade's 3 pointer was sweet. I can actually see the heat taking this.

it was luck more than anything

Yeah the ref apoligized because he did infact call time out. I'm not saying he didn't. But from the replay he didn't look like he was yelling, and he didn't signal. The signal is the big thing, because for all the ref knows, Prince could be saying "Come on! Get open!" If he signals, it doesn't matter what the ref heards because he saw the signal.

yea, but you can't tell from a replay without audio if he said it loud or not, but you can clearly read his lips and he was saying "time out"..he looked right at the official to boot and that ref was 3 ft away..you would hope the official is smart enough where he would know, Prince isnt sayin.."hey ref, get open, you're our new 6th man"..... Prince is a smart player, and he's called timeouts on the sideline with his vioce when the crowd has been louder than that, i'm pretty sure he is smart enough to say timeout loud enough for the official to hear it, it would have been better if he signaled for sure, i'm sure if he could do it over again, he would signal, he probaly didn't signal because he didn't realize that the ref was 125 yrs old and sucks balls

Maybe that Yoda looking ref didnt have his hearing aid on. wheelchair

Oh Jesus, I new this whole David Hasselhoff thing would happen, I just new it, I knew it would get out of hand like this. I knew he would eventually hear about it and voila he appears at the game and coincidently he seems to be a Mavs fan all of a sudden 😆

You couldn't write a better comedic skit than that one.

damn mavs....i didnt even see that game besides the a 1/4 of the 1at quarter, but i know they won.......i just shoulda stayed home and watched it, but i went out with freinds to see x-men 3 and it didnt live up to the hype, i missed the game, and on the way home i get a ticket for running a red light, and it wasn;t even a real red light, it was one of those rare blinky bastards......****in Mavs, ****in Hasslehoff 😠

It's a very well known FACT, that some refs tend to be crack-head oriented.
