GO HEAT!

Man I really want the pistons to go down hard against the heat. I really don't think they deserve the respect that they get. I mean they are considered by a lot of people to be the 1st or 2nd best team in the nba but imho they are #4, and would be #5 if the suns had a team like they had last season.

So how do you justify them making it to the NBA finals the last 2yrs?

Well in terms of the Western Conference, they are the 2nd best team imo and I think they were lucky against Miami.

How would you rank the top 5 teams in the league? Just out of interest.

I'm assuming he also meant that the Pistons this year aren't as good as they were the last two years. I'd have to agree that they are at least not as consistant. But I wouldn't say they are 4th or 5th.

They seem to be struggling in the playoffs but they were pretty consistent in the regular season, their record speaks for itself.
Im not sure whats happened to them in the post season but it seems to be mostly a defensive problem, they just cant shut teams down like they used to.

How about the year when the beat the most dominat team in the West in just 5 games...that was luck as well huh

I dont know what Detroit's problem is in this years playoff...they don't have any discipline at all....thats what Larry Brown brought to the table, Flip Saunders doesn't bring that, and I'm guessing thats why none of his teams were really successful in the postseason....last game the backcourt played awesome and the front court played like shit, and when the won the other game the front court played better, if they can just get in the same page then they will be able to pull this out no problem, Biggest thing that needs to happen is that Sheed needs to stop B!tching about calls and just play ball.......

Dallas won 🙁

Sheeds play has been pathetic, he means such alot to the Pistons and he is stinking the place up. He could be such a difference maker on both ends but up to this point McDyess has made more of an impact. The Heat have nobody that can guard Sheed down low, but he isnt even involved in the offense most of the time. Im pulling for Detroit in this series and i really feel that if they are gonna get past the Heat its up to Sheed to step up primarily.

Im rooting for Dallas in the west so props to them for a great win on the road. 😎

I agree all the way....Sheed should be dominating in the post but he insists on shooting 3's even when the shot isn't there...and he's not rotating at all on defense, very frustrating to watch if your rooting for Detroit

1. Dallas.
2. San Antonio.
3. Miami.
4. Detroit.
5. Phoenix.

That sounds reasonable. The way the Spurs played though, I would rank Detroit over them (I'm going off of what I've seen these playoffs).

Mabye:
1. Dallas
2. Miami
3. Detroit
4. San Antonio
5. Phoenix

That is not to say that Phoenix and Detroit aren't likely to come back and win it all. The only thing I would be confident in, would be if Detroit ended up going against the Suns, because I would think the Suns would have next to no chance against Detroit. Everything else could be a toss up to me match up wise.

Well, Detroit has their backs to the wall. It is said they play best when they are down, but this seems to be their biggest challenge yet. I don't think they will be able to pull it off the way the Heat have been playing.

lmao

who flagged my thread? smh... 😖hifty:

I agree, the Pistons have a reputation for playing their best when they are down, but why let it come to that? This isnt the Cavs they are going against, this is a very confident Heat team loaded with veterans. I dont see them crumbling when or if Detroit decided to turn it on, the Pistons may have let this one slip away.
Defensively they were terrible and offensively they only played about 6 good minutes in the 3rd. The Heat on the other hand are making it look easy, you expect Wade to be able to get to the paint but Walker, Williams and Payton? Shaq has shaken the cobwebs loose and is playing at both ends, you can tell he knows how close they are to the title now the Spurs are out.
The Pistons may decide to show up next game but i cant see them winning 3 straight, not the way they have been playing lately.

GO HEAT!!!!

Detroit is done by my observation. It's not a good omen to be down 3-1 and still not sure what style of basketball you want to play.

Wade has been on an another level.

see that block on rip by shaq? taking down the court and finishing with the layup was a thing of beauty.... 😆

well the heat havent surprised me, they have the players to be a winner and now they seem to be playing together more. shaqs playing a lot better and wade... well.. as good as ever.

mavs to go 3-1 up in the next game versus the suns!
