Charles isnt too bright, most of the time he sounds drunk. I think he is just there for comedy like Bill Walton on BSPN.

Hey Koolz, I always meant to ask why you call it BSPN? Is it BS as in BS or does it have some other meaning, I'm sure you prob mentioned it before but I just missed it.

Btw, why hasn't Avery been playing Quills more in this series? I can understand sitting Damp but why not Quills?

No you're correct the BS stands for Bullshit, unfortunately its the only US sports channel i can get over here. They just seem so wrapped up in the drama of the sports instead of the sports themselves. Take tonights game for instance, i didnt get to see it but i'll get a quick 30 second highlight package while the rest of the SportsCenter broadcast will be devoted to what colour underpants Barry Bonds wore today or some shit.
Also i hate what passes for sports on BSPN, i thought id seen it all with the World Poker Championship but oh no. Now they have trumped it with the World Championship of Dominos, do people really watch that crap? and how is it a sport?

😆 Are you serious? now it's dominoes? Haven't seen that one yet but I have seen the poker and I agree it's a waste of time. Who would rather watch poker instead of playing it. Poker, dominoes, pool, bowling I always felt like those were more games than sport. And yet they play very little futbol at all if any, only when it's like a champions league final or the WC.

I dunno know how the cable set up is in New Zealand but if you don't have access to TNT or (NBA TV-which I don't either), I guess you're best bet would be to get satellite and get the NBA league pass thing.

Yes its now Dominos, i have no idea what they are gonna finish me off with - probably Air Hockey or Table Football.
New Zealand relies on Australia for their Satellite feeds from the US. There's really not much to choose from.
Hopefully next season i can get a faster Internet connection and watch games on my PC.

I've also seen Spelling on ESPN.

As for Charles, I think he is there for comedy as well, but to me, he is pure comedy unlike Walton who can just piss me off.

i gotta be honest, barkleys a good laugh to watch but hes normally right about stuff too. awesome player tin the day too.

and, while i'm being honest, i quite enjoy watching pool.... i used to play for a local team and lost once in about 30 games.

pool, golf and bowling are all ok with me on ESPN because they at least require hand-eye coordination.

Pool, poker, dominoes, etc belong on ESPN 8, The Ocho.

What a horrible playoff run, that horrible just horrible...it was like watching X3 numerous times, your expectations are high, than they crash, than you figured it might be better the 2nd time, and its only worse......The only thing that will make me feel better is alot of sex, and my g'f is out of town, so if I could borrow any of your guys hot sisters(that are legal)I would consider it a personal favor.....and I know my g/f is gonna read this so let me be the 1st to point out that its a joke

Thanks Myth, I appreciate it...Don't worry about your Blazers, they are due for a big year, and even tho the deserve the 1st pick, they can definetly get a star on the 4th, the Pistons picked up Tayshaun with the 22nd or 24th pick......i hate the heat, and Pat Riley, and Shaq

well i'm happy... the raps have the first pick. mite make them a playoff contender. if they're close to the playoffs i'll be happy though. i really wanna see the blazers get some more wins this year, if they can hit 30 i think they'll have done well.

where you pissed when he was traded to Houston in the mid 90s?...I was a fan of his until he bailed on his team for a championship

i was a fan of him from playing nba jam when it came out in the uk, and i'd seen minor nba highlights with a dunk or two of his... then the rockets came to teh uk and there was glyde. one of my fave players no doubt. pity he didnt get to win a title with the blazers though. maybe he will one day with coaching them😄

Pissed? WE GOT OTIS THORP! 😱 .................................... 🙁

But really, I was sad to see him go, but I wasn't pissed. I was happy to see him get a ring and I knew his career was nearing an end. It was actually a good trade for the Blazers because we got the good side salary wise which made for a good run in the late 90s. I also think it was part of the influence in us getting Pippen so cheap from the Rockets. We did them a favor and they helped us out later in return. We gave up, what? Walt Williams and Kelvin Cato for Pippen? It evened out.

And I don't see Drexler ever coaching an NBA team. He tried coaching Houston at only the college level and failed miserably.
