yea he is, plays pg averaged like 13 points, 4 boards, 1.5 steals, and 6-7 assists last year. Definitely a solid player. That being said Villanueva was pretty much the #2 rookie last year behind chris paul. Im guessing Bargnani is gonna take his spot this year, and is mike james gonna be a free agent cause that would give good cause to bring TJ over.
I really think this is a good trade for the Raptors. With Bosh and Bargnani, Villanueva was unnecessary. Now they get a very very solid PG in TJ Ford (big time upgrade at the point if you ask me). My question is, who is going to replace Ford on the Bucks? He was a great fit and is a great player. His only problem has been that bad injury but he bounced back great after a year absense. They have to make a trade or a run at the market because Mo Williams shouldn't be the starting PG.

tj ford for charlie v? well... waking up and seeing that kinda shocked me.
i'm quite sad seeing charlie v go but getting a good passing pointgaurd is something we've been after, so it is the best thing for the team. its just a pity charlie got traded, i see him doing big things in the future.
tj has potential too though, hes shown already hes a good point gaurd, will he become a great? who knows.

I wouldnt be surpraised if they pick up an SG in free agency... they really have good cap space.

about the number 1 pick, yeah i'm quietly confident hes gonna turn out to be a pretty good player, confidence is the key however. it took dirk a couple of years to get into the nba's system and look at him now. i think with the talent we have with tj ford and chris bosh, plus a great player in mo-pete, bargnani should be a good fit. i dont know if he'll be as good as say dirk or even gasol, but i think he'll be a player who can make an impact on any game.

Sam Cassell turned down the clippers offer, Radmodovich went to the lakers, TJ Ford for Villanueva, Battier for Gay (in the draft), mello sign extension with nuggets, lebron has yet to sign his. Thats some of it.
Pjea is likely going to the Hornets and apparantly the mavs want to sign mike james and keep terry.

I've always liked the Bulls, so I wouldn't mind that. I'd rather the Sixers obviously, though.
