no, no, im cool with you saying things like that to me. other people have said way nastier things to me, so im used to it. its just when someone says those things, and then says that im the one being too serious, then it sorta ticks me off. but ok, we're cool.
i know the rockets arent nearly as good as the elite 4 (pistons, heat, spurs, mavs), but as of now, i think they are still better than the kings. that could change in the future, im just saying as of now. if bonzi wanted a huge paycut to go the rockets then so be it. he's willing to take the risk. i dont think any of the elite 4 would accept him.
i may be overrating the rockets, but at the same time, you're overrating the kings. its natural to overrate our own arguments. i didnt intend to bash the kings as much as it seems like it, but im just trying to prove my point.
about the nets thing, the reason i brought it up is this: i thought you said that the kings are better partly because they were 5th best in the league when artest arrived. i just wanted to tell you that winning streaks like those end fairly easily. like when the nets were pretty much the best in the league for the 2nd half of 04-05. even while being in such a hot winning streak, and even while being a huge nets fan myself, i still consider them nowhere near the top in the East. i misunderstood your statement, so lets forget about this one. i take back what i said.

im not saying bonzi's decision was smart. im just saying that he did it for a reason, and i wouldnt call him an idiot too quick. if he lays an egg this season, then maybe calling him an idiot is justifyable, but now's too early to tell.
as for van gundy and his good teams, the same could be said for many coaches, but i still think he was a good coach. musselman could impress me if the kings florish this season.
