Im sorry, but he was getting paid 98 million dollars to play for the raptors. He should be able to take some criticism for that type of cash.
He was faking an injury.
Carter never went to the basket for two season and relied on taking long jump shots or threes but as soon as he got traded to the Nets, he can go to the basket and start scoring 30 points a game....how is this is possible for a guy who's knee was all screwed up.It doesnt matter if the team isnt going nowhere, be a man, take the ****ing money that they paid you to play, and play. Ask for a trade if you want, but still play 100%. Be like Jalen Rose. He didnt want to play for the raptors, but he still played like he can.
Overall, all the shit that happened was all created by Carter.
How do you know he was faking injury? Did you just follow what the media was saying? Did you personally go up to Vince and ask him? How do you know?
I understand that Vince didn't play 100% all the time in toronto, but you can't blame him for everything. Bitter raptor fans only look at the negative things he's done. In his first few years, he was the reason raptor fans existed. Before he came, "toronto raptors? Who the hell are they?" After giving the raptors an identity and carrying them into the playoffs and almost to the east finals, you have to consider the positives he did. yeah, he sucked to force a trade and played less than 100% in his later years, but in his earlier years, he played 130%. he played incredibly. Personel changes and bad decisions by the organization led to poorer results, which led to an unhappy carter. the guy is impatient, and he doesn't want to remain in a sucky team. think about it, the more time he spends in a team that's going nowhere, the less oportunities he's getting to reach his ultimate goal.
you're wrong. When he went to NJ, he didn't start going to the rim a lot more. In fact, he's shooting more jump shots in NJ than he did in toronto. He's just making more of them, because he's focusing more. thats how he got around 27 points per game. As soon as he was traded to NJ, he sat out a few games before he played off the bench in his first game against detroit. that proves that he wasn't faking injury.
