Why isnt it Carter's fault for half assing it?

Did the coach go to him and say, " I know, they havnt traded you yet, so why dont you just not play at all."

No matter what the situation was...he half assed his job, which in the long run problaby screwed the Raptors even more because they problaby could of got alot more for him if Carter still played like he did before he started acting childish.

carter's good, theres no doubt about that
but he should just live with it till he got traded

Exactly.

this is the last time im saying it, so listen carefully.

yes, carter is to blame for half-assing his job. he should have sucked it up and been more mature about the situation. but the raptors demise is not entirely his fault, because the organization (including gm's, coach's, etc.) made some bad decisions and put carter in a bad spot, alone to carry his team on his shoulders. carter obviously didn't have the will to do it, so he gave up. but the whole thing could have been avoided if those bad decisions were not made, which is why i believe that both sides are to blame, and it was not 100% carter's fault.

Exactly.

Having said that, I have a question for you (and anybody else). We all know he is a good player, but how do you personally feel about Carter's personality and him overall as a person? Have you completely forgiven him for such actions, or do you in some way dislike him for it (whether a lot or a little).

Did I ever blame Carter for making the Raptors shitty? No

All I'm saying is that he is selfish, childish whiny *****..

One last thing, you pay a guy 98 million dollars, I'm pretty sure that Carter knew he was the go to guy and the leader of the team.

I dont know him personally and Ive never met him, but from what Ive seen on the court and in interviews hes seems like a good guy.

I'm sure he is a good guy too, but there are many aspects as to how you "feel" about somebody. I personally don't respect him very much because of the shit he pulled in Toronto. Also, we can't forget the alleged "telling Seattle the play" at the end of a game.

aside from Carter
did anyone see the kings' game?
did they win?

Carter is a good guy.

That's why it was soo hard to take when all that shit happened.

But overall, the Raptors have Bosh and an bunch of Europeans..

Maybe playoffs???

doubt it.
if they do, they get eliminated in first round

finals for raps. gotta beleive!!

nah. not that good.

Overall, all the shit that happened was all created by Carter.

Well, here you mentioned that carter created the whole mess, and i assumed you were talking about how the raptors got worse with his loss.

anyhow, im officially done with this, it's going nowhere.

as for myth's question, carter's a good guy. i like the fact that he has a friendly personality and gets along with his teammates (well, at least with the nets). sure, i love guys like iverson who have nothing but pure will to win. but i still like carter. he brings style and flavor to the game. and he has heart, although many don't believe it. so to answer your question, yeah i like him.

raptors may make it to the playoffs, but i just don't see them getting past the first round. they need a stronger nucleus.

I think it is very possible with TJ Ford running the point and a little assistance from the #1 pick. East isn't hard to get a 7th or 8th seed.

Here are my preseason predictions.

Atlantic

Nets
Sixers
Celtics
Raptors
Knicks

Central

Bulls
Pistons
Cavs
Pacers
Bucks

Southeast

Heat
Wizards
Hawks
Magic
Bobcats

Southwest

Rockets
Mavs
Spurs
Grizzlies
Hornets

Northwest

Twolves
Nuggets
Sonics
Jazz
Blazers

Pacific

Lakers
Suns
Clippers
Kings
Warriors

Im predicting the Bulls will have the best record in the East and whoever wins the Southwest wins the West, Rockets.

Lakers vs Pistons NBA Finals

i also have high expectations for the rockets, but i don't think they'll top the mavs and the spurs.

Its going to be close
