Philly just got their pants pulled down! Denver will be pretty scary once they let Melo and Smith out of county. AI/Smith/Melo/Nene/Camby, thats a tight 5 if they share the scoring load properly.
Miller will be a nice fit in Philly, he is a great PG in terms of running an offence. I'd like to see them give Iggy a chance to get up more shots, he has so much potential on both ends of the floor. The two draft picks could work out well for next year as the draft is very deep, but short term they got the short straw.

I love this trade. Andre will do good, and we get 2 first round picks, which is great. Plus with our horrible record maybe we will get the first overall pick, and hopefully that will be Greg Oden.

Trust me, ever single Sixers fan is glad the trade finally happened. We would rather get the 1st pick and have a horrible season then got knocked out in the first round of the playoffs and have a decent pick. Every single year we lose in the first round of the playoffs, and we aren't getting any better.

Yea, I mean I'm if they gel they can make some noise, but I don't see them doing any heavy damage in the west. Camby and Nene are pretty much there best defenders, and they're still no match for a Duncan, Dirk, or Amare. And even though they picked up A.I's offense, they're gonna need more help in that area to beat the Suns.

I think they should build around Iggy right now, sure if they land Oden then you build around him. But i think Iggy is gonna be a great player, he has Pippen like qualities. How do you feel about still having Webber around? Would you rather ditch his huge contract and totally start anew or keep him around as a veteran influence?

I agree that their defense isnt the greatest especially on the perimeter, but Camby does play Duncan very well and Najera is a pretty tough defender that could be used on Dirk. Amare is a different problem especially now it looks like he might get back to 100%, no one can cover a big man with that kind of footspeed. The one advantage that having AI will give the Nuggets over the Suns is that it will make Nash play defense, you cant really stop Nash especially with all the screens that get set for him but you can tire him out on the other end of the court. Chemistry will be the biggest hurdle for the new look Nuggets though.
I agree. I just don't see Melo and AI being able to share the ball together. You're basically asking two of the leagues leading scorers to take a back seat to one another. I'm not sure who will be the one to back down and say, 'Ok I'll be more of the facilitator and you can be more of the scorer.'
Conventional logic would indicate that it should be AI, being that he will now be asked to play the pt once again. A position that never really went well for him. Let's not forget that his best season and the year that he ended up going to the finals was when Larry Brown switched him to shooting guard.
If AI is serious about winning a championship this will be his time to prove it. He has to show that he's willing to sacrifice for a championship otherwise I just don't see this trade working out and I'm a bit surprised that the Nuggets decided to go this way. I mean why mess with a good thing and they seemed to have a good thing going so far this season. My guess is that the suspension played a big part in them moving forward this quickly.

In my KMC league my best players are - Nash, Dirk, KG, Carter, Brand and Melo.
In my other league my best are - B Diddy, Kobe, Melo again, D. Howard, and Okur. <- I have Dampier in this league and like I said I decided not to play him and look what happened.
How come more of you guys didn't join the KMC league? I was expecting a lot more members than what we have.
