All things considered it wasnt a bad loss to the Mavs, its hard to beat a team that good when you allow them to shoot 60% from the floor. We really missed Lamar on the boards last night and he is one of the few players that can match Dirk for size and speed, he usually plays him very well. Lamar is like the glue that holds the Lakers together, he does alot of the intangibles that sometimes go unnoticed so hopefully we will have a few guys step up and pick up the slack. Turiaf should get more minutes and he is great on the boards, Vlad can hopefully find his shot because we are going to have to find Lamar's points from somewhere else and i think Vlad could be the guy. Im hoping that when Lamar does come back other players have stepped up and it will make us a better all round team.
Got what in the bag? A championship? Please, all competitors go on streaks but doesn't mean they will necessarily win in the long run. Dallas had a 12 win streak against harder teams. Only 2 of those 12 Suns wins were on teams with .500 or better records. They are playing well but don't pretend they are unbeatable.

I think their game against the Knicks where he was pulled out for wearing a head band really lit him up, and now he's showing others what he's worth to the team. Good to see him back like in his days in Detroit.
A triple-double for Diaw, great game for him. Amare's really looking like the Amare we saw a few years ago. The Suns overall are playing really well.
Scary thought. It most likely won't happen, but if Philly can't deal Iverson before the trading deadline (Feb. 22), then they'll be stuck with Webber as their leader. Not taking anything away from him, but if that happens than we might see a "Knick" like season for the Sixers.
The longer they delay, the closer they get to Oden. Thats got to be the real strategy here. Think of how genius that would be. Find an excuse not to play Iverson, get Oden, then keep Iverson. You'd solidify the defense and Iverson still won't have to share the ball too much. Reminds me of the Spurs when David Robinson got injured making the team worse than it really was for a season and then drafting Duncan.

True, but they're not going to bring Iverson back. And the longer they wait, Iverson's value drops. In order to get the most out the trade, they need to act quickly, when other teams are craving for him.
It's going to be interesting to see where Iverson goes. The Clips deal would be the best for the Sixers but since Shaun has so much potential, the Clips don't want to pull the trigger since Shaun could be the closest thing to Magic.
Billy King, like usual, has ****ed this up so bad that he'll be lucky to get half the value of what Iverson brings. The Kings could get back in this if no other team gives the Sixers a better deal. The Sixers wanted Martin who was the Kings most untouchable player so they backed out. If the Sixers can't find a good deal they might go for a Bibby, Thomas, Cisco, draft pick deal.
WHOA! I thought Brawl #2 was coming. Knicks vs. Nuggets. About a minute 15 to go, and Mardy Collins just smacks J.R. Smith, and fights break up. Punches thrown, tussels in the front row. Fans were booing, but if they got in it, this would be much scarier. ALL 10 guys on the floor are ejected!
