How long is Billups going to be out? They seem out of sync without him.

If everythings is good, he should be back next week. They are lost without him, he's a huge focal point of our offensive, and a great leader, plus our backup, Lindsey Hunter has been out since the beginning of the season so Detroit is pretty short at one of the most important positions in the league right now.

Yes! The Nets came back once again, down by as much as 18 points and win against Chicago. It's Deja vu, they did this against the Bulls at home last week. Jason Kidd- 82nd career TD.

Oh yeah, and what do you guys think of his divorce? It sure isn't affecting his game much so far.

His wife sounds like a b!tch, but he himself admitted to assaulting her in 2001 or so. Didn't sound meant to be.

His wife is hot. 🙂

There are my 2 cents.

His wife is a *****. I wish I knew te whole story behind their relationship. She never got over that assault.

I find it kinda funny that Jason Kidd got beaten by his wife, I mean seriously, be a man!

Where do you guys think Webber is gonna end up now he has been waived? I have heard the Lakers, Pistons, Spurs, Heat and the Mavs are all possibilities.
I personally would love to see him playing for the Lakers, i've liked Webbers game since he was in Golden State. He has all the skills needed to play the PF spot in the triangle, he is a great passer from the high post and he can knock down the elbow jumper which will give Bynum room to go to work in the post. He's a solid rebounder and average defender, but most importantly he would allow Lamar to play point forward role when he comes back and facilitate the offense while Kobe goes back to the wing (scoring) position that MJ used to play. Then Luke can go back to the bench to run our 2nd unit because he knows the offense so well. I cant see any down side for Webber joining the Lakers other than his sometimes questionable attitude but if Phil can get through to Rodman im pretty sure Webber wont be a problem. I've got my fingers crossed anyway.

I think Detroit already signed him.

Nobody signed him yet.

He is close to signing with the Pistons.

I pray that the lakers don't sign Webber. He's horrible now. I remember when he had superstar status. Webber wouldn't help the Lakers get better. Plus theres no where for him to start with Lamar coming back in a couple games and are young superstar Andrew Bynum. Luke Walton is really getting good and he is a big part of the Lakers offense.Kwame Brown in my opinion is betterthan Webber. And to add to that Webber is in his 30 isn't he. Bynum,Brown,Smush,Luke,Farmar,Bryant,Cook,Vujacic, and,Turiaf. There's no where for Webber to fit in on this team. Not a single person is older than 29.

Good points, I'll try and counter them one at a time.

He isnt horrible, he is definitely good enough to help and for the price we could get him you have to at least take a look. He could definitely start at PF for us moving Lamar to his natural Point Forward position, even if he came off the bench that give our bench a huge rebounding and playmaking boost. It wont effect Bynums minutes at all as he plays center what it will do is give him more space to operate down on the block because teams have to respect Webbers mid range jumper and cant sag down on Bynum. He will also be great at hitting Bynum from the high post when teams go zone on us. Walton is having a great year but imagine if he was up against 2nd string line ups coming off the bench and leading the 2nd unit. Kwame is far better than Webber defensively but Webber is much more refined offensively and has always had great hands (something that Kwame still struggles with). Kwame is also a center so chances are they would be on the court together anyway. Finally i agree we are a young team and that was one of our downfalls in the playoffs last year, every young team needs some smart veterans come playoff time and Webber fits the bill. McKie and Williams were signed to be veteran influences but they can hardly help from the bench. Chances are we dont end up getting C-Webb and he ends up going home to Detroit, but i would love to have him on our team at the price he is up for.

Good to hear from another Laker fan, i swear we are taking this place over at the moment. Quite a turnaround from the old days of just me and Link.

Kind of Ironic all the Lakers fans come out when they are starting to do good. 😛

Not all of them, but i catch your drift. 😉

Not really, they are for his whole family, not just his wife.

They were more for his wife only, because he started doing them as soon as he got married, rather then when they first gave birth. But either way, he's still keeping the kissing routine.
