Got a question.I've been watching the Raptors vs Nets...and they announcers kept on talking Carter and how much the fans are booing him because he basically does what he did in TO.
Is that true?
Carter's definately lost some of his touch with the Nets this season, mostly because of personal problems. And the Nets' bad start only made things worse. But I still support him, because I know deep down he's willing to fight through it, although other's will disagree. Tonight's game against the Raptors, he was phenomenal. Not so much how many points he scored, but he showed the enthusiasm and determination. He didn't care who got in his way, he was driving the ball like crazy. The season has been a build up, with this game being the best. So no, he won't waste himself again, I know for sure. Those commentators are obviously biased. And even if Carter opts out next season, I'll be thankful for what he did, not bitter for what he didn't do.

Are they booing him or not?
It's not just the commentators, its also the media in TO...and they're not biased, especially Bob McCown.

We got our ass handed to us tonight.I didn't get to watch the game because I had stuff too do.
But anyone who watched the game, what the hell happened?
Were we suffering from Post Beat Dallas Mavericks Syndrome?
PBDMS
We proved once again that even though we can beat elite teams, we are not one yet. Elite teams take care of business against the bottom feeders, we came out flat in the 3rd and they ran us off the court. Hopefully come the end of the season we will be able to have that mental focus to come out with the same mindset no matter who we are playing.

Are you being sarcastic?
Not really, other than individual stats, and a few playoff appearences he hasn't done much for Nets fan, it's not like he has brought them to the next level, but this is just my opinion, and I'm not a Nets fan, which is why I was asking you, a Nets fan, what exactly are you thanking him for?

Well, at the beginning of the 04-05 season, the Nets were nowhere, with like a 2-11 record, and when he came in, he gave them some much needed help. With RJ down, he was their go-to-guy often scoring more than 30% of their points. He brought excitement to fans, which obviously brought a lot more fans. If it wasn't for him, Kidd would most likely not be a Net today, let alone play at this level. And of course, they wouldn't have made it to the playoffs without him. I know it was expected of him to do these things, but he's done a lot for this organization nonetheless. I was just emphasizing that he's done a lot more than he hasn't, so I would internally, not literally, thank him. I didn't mean thanking him personally, I basically meant that I wouldn't boo him if he were to opt out.
Two terrible 3rd quarters back to back by the Lakers, they had this problem earlier in the season but seemed to sort their shit out. Now it rears its ugly head again, you cant come out after halftime half assed - in the NBA leads can grow too quickly. Thats basically the story of the last two games, that and our defense has been shithouse.
Tell me about it, the Pistons blew it against the Bobcats, again. Thats two Bobcats losses so far 😕 . I know they have some talent on the Bobcats, but thats a team the Pistons should have no problem against.

Yea, I know what you meant by thanking him, I just wanted some insight on your appreciation for him as a Net.

How long is Billups going to be out? They seem out of sync without him.
