T-mac shouldn't get the start over Nash, especially this season. But you're right, a lot of other players deserved to be in the game that didn't. That's how the system works, both fans and the coaches decide who plays. Still, it's a lot more gratifying to start. Anyway, Yao can't play because of his injury, so they should put in either Dirk or Nash and take T-mac out.

Dirk

There are people who deserved to get in that didn't. There should be absolutely no complaining over who is starting and who is not. You will be there and you will play.

Probably get more playing time than Tmac because of his back issues and the unimportance of this game.

I couldn't care less if Nash didn't get that start, and he probably wont ever get the start anymore, Kobe, Tmac, and Iverson will always get the start over him.

Dude, what do you mean there should be no complaining who is starting in the Allstar game, you should it yourself, "Shaq starting in the Allstar game is a ****ing joke". I think most fans have come to grip that every year a player or two gets snubbed out of the Allstar game, but that doesn't mean the Starters who deserve to Start should get snubbed as well. The Starters in the Allstar game should be the most deserving players to play in the Allstar game.

The dude has played in 5 games, I not only complained that he was starting but I complained about him being there.

But as I said before, the people who have made it shouldn't be complaining over starting or not. Just have some fun, it is the all star game where all seriousness is taken away.

He will get to play and that is all that matters. And most likely get more playing time than Tmac anyways. So it really doesn't matter.

Was this a collection of best players or something? If that's the case, how come Dirk wasn't part of it?

Because Dirk isn't under contract with Nike.

Its a shame Dwight can't start because of Shaq, but its a bigger shame that Okafor or somebody else that is deserving won't be able to go at all because of the dumbass fans. I doubt it would happen, but I would love to see Shaq do the honorable thing and offer to sit out to let somebody else in. Besides, Shaq could probably use the extra rest anyway.

Shaq is the last person who would give up a spot for somebody else. He's an arrogant ass.

As I said, I doubt it. You never know, maybe he will decide to for the main reason being he isn't healthy enough.

Exactly, and he's in the game because of the fans, and taking up a roster spot as well.

I haven't heard any of the players complain at over who's starting, this is all from a fan's perspective, and when I say fan, I'm talkin about us on the forum, not some 12, or 13 year old who voted for Shaq 800 times.

I beg the differ, because like Rec said, it's more gratifying to start in the Allstar game, and I think the most deserving shouldn't have that stripped from them.

Who else thinks the new theme song for the NBA on ABC is a bit annoying. I mean the chicks are hot but the song is annoying as hell.

'Right now! Don't you leave me at the post!' <-WTF!?

God I miss the old NBA on NBC jingle. I'm not a John Tesh fan at all but I have to admit that was just pure genius.

John Tesh's NBA theme song is my ringtone. 🙂

Now that's what I call 'gansta'! Great idea. I hope you don't mind but I'm gonna copy you 😛

Hey! That NBC theme song was so catchy. I remember those days when I would hear that song and watch the Lakers and Kings duke it out.

Not a problem. Currently, I'm coaching 6th grade ball and my phone went off and only 2 of the kids have even heard the tune before. Sad.

Btw, did you guys here about this? http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2742523

Wow, how idiotic. 😐

Lol

I would have loved to see that live.

That, and the X-mens cartoon theme song from the 90s are the two greatest ringtones ever.

Do you run the Suns no set offense for your team?

Well, lets just say that the kids I'm coaching weren't blessed with talent, size, or athletic ability. We're still working on dribbling, passing, and making (open) jump shots. However, I do throw in a bunch of other stuff and I have trained them to run the court the moment they get the ball because our lack of post player.

Edit: Also, they now know how to box out, but I can't get them to actually do it in games. To A.D.D. I guess.

I love rebounding, I'm unstoppable on the boardsflex. I thought about coaching or refererring, but as of right now I don't have the time for either. My dad is a ref, and has been for like 20 years, so I'll probally take that route.

And here's a little something I digged up for you, Coaching 101.

That was pretty funny.

'What's this diet? Do I look like I need to be on a diet to you? Go do some laps!'...LOL

I think I'm gonna start watching that show now.

LOL @ his first team.
