It is in no way smart to trade Bynum for Kidd. I wouldn't do that straight up if it was even possible for the Lakers. Why sacrifice a possible 15 years of a really strong team to absorb an expensive contract that will be useful for 2 years. Kidd would not guarantee a championship so it would be unwise to give up one of the best future Cs in the league.

Kidd To Lakers Done? : The Buzz after the Nets loss tonight, has everyone believing Jason Kidd is being traded to the Lakers. Kidd basically told media that he enjoyed his time in New Jersey and fully expects to be traded by the 3pm trade deadline. It’s not clear which side budged on the deal, but informed sources believe Brian Cook, Kwame Brown and Jordan Farmar are coming to New Jersey. The deal is not expected to be announced until tomorrow.

We'll know by tomorrow for sure.

Could be just speculation. Cook's inconsistent but Farmar i great for a rookie. But we still have Sasha, and might keep Mihm.

If the trade happened, and thats the deal, NJ got hosed.

Draft picks have to be involved in that somehow because just those 3 for Kidd doesn't make much sense.

Thats what I was thinking, either that or its just media speculation.

Well they are suppose to be trading Carter too so in the end it might turn out good for them.

It's not a good deal for N.J. but let's pray it happend.

Sportscenter is sayin a deal is likely to go down where jason collins and kidd will go to L.A. for someone other than the big4
