Dont worry about the media, its better to fly under the radar and surprise people. If the Raptors are still looking good by ASW then watch the media jump on the bandwagon, they are like sheep.

Well obviously if a team is good through ASW you can assume a team will likely continue to play the same way the rest of the year.

smasandian, spot on.

we WON the division last year, have a better team with more experience, yet we're still a lottery pick? i dont understand it.

Odens ESPN commerial where he as the same expression on every picture is great, but not as great as Varjoie(sp?) thinking he is a 9 million a year type player. He is either out his damn mind, or has the worst agent ever.

oh yes. raptors beat the nets, 106 to 69. away.

love this result. bargnani with 21 pts, and bosh with 15. loving this start to the season!

Wow, the Raptors look good.

Then again, its only 2 games but I didnt see that game against the Nets going like that.

It's funny when you see Delfino, Dixon and Caulderon playing against the Nets starting lineup and still beating them.

It's going to be a good season. Colangelo is doing an bang up job. Hopefully it continues and if they beat the Celtics, wow.

What about that has been Shaq O'neal. The Heat need help.

Wow! What an action packed night in the league. My boy KG with a big time monster double double. Durant droppin 45 already and the Lakers dominatin the Suns and the Hawks shockin the Mavs!

Yo dis season gonna be off da chain!

Btw, those who signed up for the fantasy league need to step up and play. I notice some of you are slackin. If you weren't gonna play then you shouldn't sign up.

A Suns beat down, that is what I love to see right there. The whole team stepped up tonight, I was very surprised that happened. Not much else to say though, I give them their props for this game versus one of the best teams in the league but until I see them they play like this night in and night out, my opinion of them will remain very low.

Yeah that game was pretty much awesome, especially the 3rd quarter they just ran away with it. And Kobe didnt do much but rebound (rare) and we still killed them. Thats a good sign to me. Just continue what we did and we'll do good.

damn that loss at home to boston was tough... but i think we showed just how good we can be. bosh and bargnani had a torrid first half, but tj ford stepped up. ray allen though.... nice 3 to make the W

Beautiful display of team basketball by the Lakers the other night, yes the Suns were on the tail end of a back to back but i dont remember anyone using that excuse when we got whopped by them 2yrs in a row after the same kind of kind of schedule. I mean its only the 2nd game of the season, how tired were the Suns gonna be?
Loved the production we got from the bench, Bynum, Farmar, Vlad and even Sasha made valuable contributions. The difference in having Fish run the point instead of Smush is crazy, Fish may not be the most skillful player but he is mentally strong and uses the skills he does have well. He went right at Nash and made him play defense, i dont know why more teams dont try this as its well known that Nash cant guard his own shadow.
Kobe played a nice balanced game and found plenty of ways to score in the flow of the offense, when he plays off the ball like that and lets players like Walton create for him he is so much more difficult to defend. He can also conserve energy for his defense which has been very strong to start the season, in fact our defensive rotations against the Suns were some of the best i have seen in years - hopefully we can keep it up.
If we can play solid defense and move the ball like we did in that last game i can see us making some noise (obviously health is a big concern to), we have some great distributors in Walton, Farmar and Lamar (when he gets back) and i hope Kobe uses those guys to get him good shots in the triangle. His efficiency will go up and he also wont have to work so hard to get shots off the dribble. The only way i can see the Lakers surprising people this season is if we play team ball, we already know Kobe ball will only take us part of the way.

wow. i'm actually watching some live nba for the first time in... well a while. at the moment, and its not something i'll say often, but eddy curry is playing really well. defensively. not great... but hes ended the half with 15 pts, and randolph has 8 boards.

AI and carmelo have 11assists between them, and 31 pts. 66-60 at the mo to the nugs.... i think they'll take the game. nice little interview with john starks, christ... i'm being spoilt!

I was flipping back and forth between the Cavs/Warriors and the Lakers/Hornets games (plus some others before those). Both were great. LeBron had a near triple double and the game was back and forth with the Cavs coming out on top at the end. Hornets kept a small lead most of their game, but what made it entertaining was Paul's 21 assists. That is a Hornets record, while Peja got the Hornets record for 3s made (10) and had 36 points I believe.

Hornets are playing well. Hopefully the Blazers can break the Hornet's undefeated record while getting our first win. I'll be at the game myself.

eddy curry ended with a great game. if he can continue like that and be consistant, look out league. not gonna mention the raptors. apart from the fact they played horrible.

The Blazers have been impressive in the last two games (well not so much the 1st 1/2 of the Memphis game). Aldridge and Webster are really meeting my expectations. Aldridge is making it so nobody can even remember fat face's name. His FG% is better than last year even though he is taking more than double the amount of shots (meaning he no longer just shoots when open). Last night he had 30pts/10rebs/2asts/3blks/3stls. The only thing that we need to change is his nickname (L.A.). I've seen signs that say "I love L.A." in the Rose Garden. That will just send mixed messages to people around the country when the Clippers and Lakers come to town.

Webster's shooting has been great as well. He is finally becoming the shooter that we thought we used a lottery pick on.

i love l.a.... hardly a clever thing to hold up in the rose garden considering the past rivalries!!!

raptors beat the bulls... something a lot of teams are doing at the moment. havent been able to watch the games, but what are chicago doing for them to have a 1-4 record? they're a playoff favourite. i know its early... but still!

Man, Dallas never looked like they had a chance. We scored like 4 points in the first 6 minutes of the 3rd and we were still up by about 10. The final score was the closest they had been since about halftime. Roy had 32 pts, which is his new career high.

yeh roys looking good fair dues, he hit some nice shots against the mavs.

seen some durant playing, hes got some potential thats for sure.

Yep. Not very efficient though, but that was expected. Give him time (and a team).
