Kidd wants out. Hopefully the Cavs could use Kidd's desire to leave as leverage to make a trade that looks something like this:

Hughes, Boobie, Varajao, Shannon Brown, pick(s)

I'm not sure when they can trade Varajao though.

Cleveland should keep at least one pick.

If Varajoe is in the deal, it would have to be a sign a trade, but i just read that the Cavs were about to sign him to a three year deal, might as well trade him while there at it.

The Cavs have got nothing that the Nets would want imo, Hughes still has a couple of years left on his crazy contract and Varejao wants to get paid big time (im not sure if they can sign and trade him now the Bobcats have made an offer for him anyway).

I would love to see the Lakers make a move for him with a deal centered around Odom and Kwame, i know most of you will laugh at the Kwame part but he is still a 9mill expiring which could be attractive to a team looking for cap relief. I'd add Farmar and some picks to get the deal done, he would help their PG rotation with Williams and i've seen enough of our Javaris Crittenton to feel safe in our PG spot for the future.
As much as i like Lamar's game he is just becoming more and more redundant in the roster, with Bynum rebounding like a madman Lamars board work is not as important (and Kidd is a great rebounder) and Walton is just as good a passer as Lamar (probably even better in a half court set). Also Ariza brings an athletic SF who can D up the Bron's and Melo's of the league (he even shut down AI in the 4th yesterday) so Lamar's all round game is pretty covered now by various players so now might be the time to see if Lamar can fetch us someone like Kidd.
A Kidd and Kobe backcourt would be ridiculous, even at his age Kidd is still one of the best defenders at his position. He would also create tons of easy opportunities for finishers like Kobe, Bynum, Ariza, Critt, Turiaf and Vlad (from deep). He would take the ball out of Kobe's hands and allow him to play off the ball which i have wanted to see for years. The one blemish in his game is his outside shot but Fisher would be back up PG and can even play the 2 spot with Kobe at the 3 if we want to go small.
I think this move would take the Lakers back to the next level and also rejuvenate Kobe in the process, its probably a pipe dream but i have my fingers crossed.

Weren't the Mavs like 50-5 at one point last year? ermmnone

No, they started out 0-4, so that would have meant they went on a 50-1 streak.

haermm, humor me.

Nash chipped a tooth. mmm

And did you see when he talked in his Canadian acsent. Ha great.

Woo Hoo! Blazers are at .500! 7 in a row! Their largest streak since 1997!

Just kidding. 2002, but its still impressive.

...And this is all without Oden. Imagine what they'd be with him in the lineup.

All I get to see is the Nets losing to the Knicks back to back.

IN YO FACE BOSTON!!(are there even any Celtics fans that come in here?).....1st home loss at the hands of Billups and Co. I enjoyed watching that 🙂

Glad Celtics lost. Not impressed with them

I love the commentators reaction after this game winning shot was hit by Rudy Gay against the Spurs....

Cavs s*ck this year. Lakers by 12

I can't believe the way the Blazers are playing. They are currently positioned to be 8th in the West. Plus I've heard somewhere (some formula was used) that the Blazers have had the 2nd hardest schedule in the league (I've also heard 8th hardest elsewhere, but still thats good).

In case you've missed it (since it is barely mentioned on the major websites), we have won 10 straight and the next 3 are at home against the Sonics, T-Wolves, and 76ers.

We are also only a half game behind the Nuggets for first in the NW.

Good call.

Lakers won. More games to watch later.

I can't wait until the Christmas game (Blazers). I actually have only missed 2 or 3 of the Blazer's home games this year (by "missed" I mean didn't make it to the Rose Garden). Ebay is a great way to get tickets cheap (I'm seeing the T-Wolves game for $2.49).

Happy holidays my fellow hoop fans, good luck to all your respective teams unless they play the Lakers of course.

Lakers 2-0 vs the Suns... 🙂

I take back what I said about Bynum. I don't want him to be traded and he's made a lot of progression since last season. He's making an immediate impact and can help us win now instead of just the future. Our bench is crazy good(what a surprise!). Some are even saying were the second best in the west. We are making a serious run at the Pacific, time to end Phoenix's run.
