Yeah baby, what a Xmas present. We are really playing well against the Suns this season, using our size advantage in the post and dominating them on the boards. Our worst weakness in the playoffs last season was transition defense, its nice to see we have addressed that this season especially against the Suns.

Bynum is rewarding the Lakers faith in him over the summer, i've always been a Bynum fan and hoped he would become a dominant center but its always a crap shot when dealing with young raw players with nothing but potential. Bynum has improved every season and with Kareem mentoring him you are just starting to see the kind of franchise center that he can be. The kid is just 20yrs old, he still might grow some more and he has the kind of frame that can easily support 300lbs. Couple that with his skills and tools and its a very exciting time to be a Laker fan. Im looking forward to seeing Bynum and Oden bring back the traditional center to the NBA.

Im trying to stay grounded and not get too carried away with the Lakers success at the moment, we were rolling last season to before injuries derailed the season. But i do like the small changes we made and the balance is much better on our roster this year. Fisher is so steady at the PG and Farmar and Critt are each capable of making an impact as backups. Ariza is my type of player, plays hard defense, disrupts passing lanes, moves well without the ball and finishes strong (just ask Grant Hill - sweet jesus was that a poster or what?) As much as i like Lamar i would package him with Kwame to see if we can get a legit PF like Boozer, Gasol or JO, Lamar struggled at SF (which surprised me, i thought he'd be great) and he isnt really a PF either (even though he boards like one). I just dont really see where he fits on this team now we have some versatility at SF with Ariza, Luke and Vlad. I'd prefer to have a bruiser (i know thats not Gasol, but i still like his game) at the PF who can block some shots and anchor the defense with Bynum. I think thats the move we need to make to take the next step and advance deep into the playoffs.

Good to see you have boarded the A-Train Evo, peace bro enjoy your Xmas.

Thats 11 for the Blazers now!

Shaq either needs to retire, or take his annual 20- 30 games off, and Pat Riley needs to do something, fire himself, trade someone, anything...Right now Wade is looking like a genious for signing that short term contract.

He would have been more of a genius if he just signed elsewhere.

Happy for my Lakers. Bynum is incredible and getting better. Kobe trusts his teammates and the Lakers will continue winning

Well, the Blazers' streak ended at 13. It was a good run, and 2nd best in franchise history. I sure hope they make playoffs. Before today's game, we were tied for 1st in the NW conference with the Nuggets. It took bad refs combined with terrible play (didn't help that Nate was absent) for us to finally lose. It was also the 2nd night of a back to back. Well, lets just start a new one. I hope they bounce back well.

waddup guys... long time huh? no internet at home. having trouble with phoneline, as in we phone them up to come and fix but the call center is in india... so we cant understand them and they cant understand us. talk about frustration!!!!!!!!

sweet run by teh blazers... i dont think many people expect them to do that much with the loss of oden, but they're young and unpredictable, an often missed gift!

my raptors are lingering just above the .500 mark, waiting for them to get a nice run and get some momentum.

anyway, hope you guys had a good xmas and new years.

VOTE CHRIS BOSH! YEEEEEEEE HAWWWWW!!!

Yeah, I've seen that Bosh one a couple of times. Pretty funny.

Anyway, back on track! 2 game streak! 15 of last 16! We're virtually tied with Denver for 1st in the NW. And boy what a game tonight. Double overtime win.

Man the Lakers I just don't know what to think about them.

We blow out Denver in one game and the very next we get blown out by Utah. We blow out Utah one game and the very next get blown out by Boston, then the very next game we blow out Philly.

No shame in getting handled by Boston man, they are at the level we are trying to get to. The key is bouncing back the next game and we are doing that, much better focus and chemistry this year. If we keep this up i dont think many teams will want to see us in a seven game series.

Oh and happy 08 guys!

Happy New Year

Lakers are playing well. Nice six games ahead

16 of our last 17! WOO HOO!

Roy only played 9 minutes tonight too. Webster made up for the loss of Roy by scoring 24 points in the 3rd.

😆 So true.

Blazers are leading the NW division! That would be 4th seed in the West if the playoffs started today. We are now 17 of our last 18 games. We are 1/2 a game ahead of Denver, 2.5 games ahead of GS, and 3.5 ahead of Houston. Heck, we are only 1 game behind the Hornets.

The coaches better vote Roy in as an all-star, and he was gypped for Player of the Month of December.

going to the Lakers game tonight. got great seats. should be an easy win.

im hearing good things about Bynum. i dont watch the games too much so anyone know much about the team and whats going on? i heard Kobe is leaving?

Blazers/Hornets vs. Magic in the finals.
