not so sure about deron williams... i mean boozer is the heart of that team. from what myth has told me roy is everything. hopefully he and oden will make a good combo when oden returns. boston beat the spurs, they're contenders.
Thats why Deron didn't make the all-star team. The Jazz and the Blazers were neck and neck but Deron had Boozer on his team. Though, since the selections the Jazz have kicked it up a notch. Kobe may not play in the game so expect either Deron or B. Davis as the replacement.
Oden is apparently close to getting more involved during practice and maybe even pre-game. The idea is just to give him the feel of being part of the team and start getting in the proper mindset. Originally I heard he would be healthy enough to play in March or April, but it will not happen even if he is healthy enough. He will be active with the team during Training Camp.
Davis probably should get in, but a strong case can be made for Williams, including having a better record and in the last month the Jazz have been one of the best teams in the league. That could push Deron over Davis.
yeah but baron would be the only member representing his team. i think it'd be nice for what the warriors acheived last year by knocking the much fancied mavs out of the first round!
good approach with oden, why risk it when he can be 100% for next year. good to see a team take their time with injured players.
For all-star consideration:
D. Williams
Pros: Team has slightly better record than G.S. and they are red hot right now. Additionally, Williams was snubbed last year when he should have got in.
Cons: Boozer is still seen as the main guy on that team.
B. Davis
Pros: Is the best player on his team. Would be only representative for the Warriors. Plus, the Mavs series is in recent memory.
Cons: Team is slightly worse, could make an argument that Jackson is more important this year. Plus he doesn't have the greatest rep (at least among coaches).
It really could go either way.
OMG! Moon is taking the dunk title this year!

someone mentioned in another thread about a trade that sends jason kidd to the mavericks. why he couldnt just post it here i have no idea.
but wow. how much better do you think this will make dallas if any? i think it may just put them up with san antonio as faves, with pheonix and the lakers close behind. i'm also saying utah are going to be a bit of a dark horse, they're very capable and the addition of kyle korver has improved them drastically, as shown by stats. i think they were 17-3 since the trade.
