Did you guys see what Denver did to Seattle? 168 to 116. Yikes.

84 pts each half....Amazing

Tell me about it bro, its all about knowing your opponent. Alston for example isnt going to get into the teeth of your defense or create for others like say CP3, he is like Bibby when he comes off the pick - he likes to put up the outside shot. You are taught from a young age that if you are guarding a perimeter threat on the pick and roll then fight over the top of the screen, dont go under it unless you are trying to prevent the drive.
Whats even more puzzling is that it was Fisher and Farmar doing it, 2 of our smarter players. They just didnt seem to learn from their mistakes - very frustrating to watch.
All in all we didnt deserve to win that game, we didnt play hard, smart or together. I can only hope we can right the ship because the West is too tight to start putting together losing steaks.

Oh and my condolences to the Sonics, they're gonna feel that one in the morning.

I don't understand why Phil didn't put Kobe on Alston

Phil sometimes coaches horribly. Anyway look forward to 2morrows game.

Good news and bad news for me. First, I was going to get season tickets for next season. It would have been my first time doing so. Then I found out that all of the ones in my price range are sold out. Shit.

The good news, though, is that I found out the Blazers have 4 draft picks in the upcoming draft. Can you say more Blazer draft day trades? We have our own 1st, and then 2nd rounders from the Suns, Griz, and Knicks. The Grizzly and Knick picks should be early 2nd rounders, so those should be pretty easy to package in some deal.

Portland should have a real good draft day.

Seattle is gonna have some serious potential in the future. They got the number 1 overall draft pick last year and will get 2 number 1 draft picks this year.

Agreed

Need to get a big man and some veteran leadership

Probably was worried about McGrady. It should be noted that during this 21 game winning streak McGrady is only averaging like 20 pts a game. As soon as I saw Alston make 2 3's I wouldve put Kobe on hhim. McGrady didn't and didn't really have to do anything the whole night.

T-Mac didn't do anything

Bad coaching by Phil

Its ok. Regroup tomorrow. Play good defense, don't leave shooters open; and maybe Boston beats Houston; Lakers reclaim #1

We need all the wins we can get with both Pau and Andrew out. We could possibly slide out of the playoff picture if things go horribly wrong. It's crazy how much of a difference maker he is. A talented center is the perfect compliment to Kobe's game. We saw that with Andrew, Shaq and Gasol.

With Andrew we were a good defensive team, with an exceptional offense. With Pau we were a great offensive team with a bad defense. Imagine what we'll be with both of them out there on the floor. Plus Ariza...man I wish we were healthy NOW! I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER!

Paul at 50% and West out. Not good for the Hornets.

Lakers will be unstoppable with Andrew and Pau. Imagine if Chris comes back 100%

celtics got a nice W on the road against the spurs... they're seriously impressing me this year. the west is looking real tight though. i dont think the rockets are gonna do that well... but they're dangerous to think about like that. they could create an upset.

Even if the Celtics beat the Rockets, the Lakers still won't reclaim number 1 with just that. The Rockets will still hold a 2-1 tiebreaker on them.

And they play one more time at Staples and the Lakers will have Pau and Andrew

Nope. The Rockets will play the Clippers twice, but they are done with the Lakers for the year.

True enough. Just looked at my Laker site

Game tonite. Can't just stand around and watch Kobe shoot. Lamar's been playing well, feed him the ball more

I'll be watching the other game. I'm a Rockets fan. Celtics coming into town tonight. Gonna be tough.
