Hey Sixers 8 of last 9 including beating the Pistons, Spurs, and Nuggets. Not bad. 1 game behind Raptors for the 5 seeds which I really want because I think this team can beat the Cavs in the first round. Signing a player like Elton Brand could make the Sixers pretty serious conteders considering how young they are.

if they sign brand they may challenge for the eastern conference finals.

there's a loooooooooooooong line of powers out west that are >>>>>>>>>philly with brand

Lakers 😄

Hey, look it's Captain Obvious!

Lakers are back in 1st place

Lamar is playing like an All-Star

Lakers played well and looked great last night. Lakers v. Sonics 2nite...Poor Kevin Durant

Watched the 1st half last night of the Laker-Utah game. Good stuff. Turiaf, Radmonavic, and Lamar looked really well. Kobe was Kobe.

The Boston Celtics are clearly the best team in the NBA right now though.

The Celtics look really good. With the way they performed against the Texas Trio, it makes me wonder how the Jazz blew them out a few games ago.

A fully focused Celtics team is almost unstoppable. Paul Pierce is the best on that team.

I wouldn't go that far. They are damn good for sure, the best in the NBA, but they barely beat the Spurs and Mavericks. If you want to go by "fully focused", you can add the Spurs, Lakers, and Pistons as being almost unstoppable.

Hey, you're a comedian too!

I meant contenders in the East. I thought it was pretty obvious that they still wouldn't be near most of the West, something that I didn't think I would have to point out.

yeah one need only look at the mavs team that was dominating in the regular season, only to fall in the first round to B Diddy and the warriors.

the celtics are good, but i'm not going to proclaim them champions. doc rivers has almost no coaching experience beyond the first round of the playoffs. and before anyone claims that doesn't matter, make a list of all the championship coaches in the past 10 years. They all have EXTENSIVE playoff coaching experience.

additionally, spurs, pistons, lakers, even the cleveland Lebrons all turn it up several notches in the playoffs. Garnett has only been to the western conf finals 1 time, and that was after 7 straight 1st round exits.

celtics have nasty surprises waiting for them against veteran playoff teams

when you say "contend" in the context of the NBA, there's only ONE meaning.

Celtics>all of those teams. But if Kobe is playing real well and in a total offensive mentality *coughWiltChamberlaincough* like in 05-06 he could single handedly **** on the team himself.

😆 😆 The bald guy in the back is the only one cracking up, and almost everybody else is watching it on the big screen like it's not 2 rows in front of them.

Lakes down by 26, come back, take the lead in the 4th, only to be shit on by Stephen Jackson.

I don't understand why we always sag off the 3 point shooters. Could you please stay on your man?

Anyways it was a home and home, so got them again I think it's tomorrow.

It is

Just guard ur man. Don't leave shooters wide open

After Kobe made another 3, Rad should've fouled Baron. He's not a good FT shooter

Have to play better tonite and get a win. Have a game lead over NO and Phoenix
