Just a half now over the Suns and the Hornets are tied with us for 1st in the West.

Time to start talking about potential playoff match-ups. Who would you like to see in the 1st round? I'm leaning towards Golden State, although I think if we're healthy, then we take both the Mavs and Warriors out in 5 games.

I agree with that

Once the Lakers are healthy, they will streamroll the competition

Pau is scheduled to play on Wednesday

Anyone know how long Dirk Nowitzki is going to be out?

I read he will be out for 2 weeks.

yeah he's done for two weeks. that really hurts big D...imagine if dallas didn't make the playoffs...if they go .500 while dirk is out, and that is a real possibility, they could fall out of 8th seed. that is scary. only in the dirty, wild west. gun_bandanaraygun

anyway, real important game for the knicks to lose tonite. i hope jersey comes away for the win, cause all i can look forward to is the draft lottery

Good picks to choose from

Michael Beasley, O.J. Mayo or perhaps Tyler Hansbrough

OJ is going to be really good at the next level. But I hope he stays for just one more year because I feel we have a chance at a title with another top 3 recruit coming in. So if he stays, we'll have the #1 overall recruit from 2007 and the #3 overall recruit from 2008.

But I wouldn't be surprised if he left. He's a lottery pick and he's ready.

I would say another yr would help for Mayo. Suspect jump shot and does he play any defense

Money is tempting

As a UCLA Bruin fan, I hope K Love stays another yr

Good win for the Lakers. Nice shot by Sasha. Awesome performance by Lamar 23 and 21

Sixers chumped the Celtics.

42pts and 43 boards from Lamar the last 2 games, 23pts, 21 boards, 5 dimes, 2 steals and 5 rejections last night. Talk about stepping up in the wake of our injuries, this is the way i've always wanted to see Lamar play for us. He played every position on the floor for us last night, love to see that versatility.

Lamar is playing like an All Star

5 Game Home Standwoot

Lakers have it pretty easy the rest of the way, too. The only tough games are the Hornets and the Spurs at the end. Dallas would have been tough before Dirk went down.

Dirk is out. Lakers have been without Andrew for a while

Pau will miss a few more games also

Bad game for the Lakers last night, guy. They are really hurting without Gasol. One more technical, and Kobe is suspended for a game, so he's better be careful. The last thing his team needs is for him to be suspended against either the Hornets or the Spurs.

Myth I have some bad news. Brandon Roy is out for the next four games because of a groin injury..

Agreed, CD. The Lakers really disappointed me last nite. Kobe has to control himself

They will be without Pau again Friday. If they play smart, good team ball should be a win

Bad news about Roy. He's a talent

something good in the nba....

coming to london on october, nets versus heat in a pre season match. i HAVE to go!!!!! not teams i'm really fussed on but its nba, and i'm not gonna be able to afford to go to the usa to watch some for a while!

Huge game tonight. New Orleans vs Boston. The Hornets put down the Celtics last Saturday 113-106. If they defeat the Celtics again, then I think that will clearly make them the best team in the league.
