Only won by 7, MythI'm sure ur Blazers will be ready to play against my Lakers Tuesday. Good luck, friend
Still was an embarrassing game. 65 points? That was the least we scored all year. Plus we lost Przybilla for the remainder of the year and dropped under .500 for the first time in 2008. I hope we just totally take it all out on the Lakers 😉
Just got done with it. Tell me what you think about it.

No Roy or Przybilla against the Lakers.... I doubt that will happen. Although Aldridge has given them fits.

They are trying to get a new rule to keep college players for 2 years minimum now. I hope so, it would would make the NCAA better and thats where the real basketball is at. 😛 Plus I think it's better for the NBA too.
I don't know if I agree with that rule or not. I know it's in place for football, but I think football requires a lot more discipline and teamwork that can only be learned in college. Even then, the jump from college to professional football is almost like changing worlds. In basketball, I don't think that applies nearly as much.
I love the idea of having players stay in college 2 years, at least. People forget that college is for an education. All these players are being bred as basketball players with barely a high school diploma to go with it. Lots of them are not prepared for the real world by the time they are handed millions of dollars.
I think it would be good for basketball. College gets another year of elite prospects. NBA can start drafting more on talent than potential. Really, it helps protect the NBA teams. Teams feel pressure to draft young guys on potential because of fear of missing out on the next Kobe/KG/etc. Then they end up paying Kwame $5 million a year. Making players wait 2 years helps prevent putting teams in ridiculous Kwame-like situations.
College is not for everyone. Although I think this move would help the NBA in ratings because fans are going to watch their favorite college player in the NBA, but what about the people who can't get into college? KG skipped college because he couldn't pass a test. What are they going to do for 2 years? You shouldn't have to be a college player to be in the NBA.
I don't like it.

Play overseas for 2 years. Play in the Dleague. There is options. It won't be ideal for everybody, but overall I like it.
I can't think of anyone who isn't the Hall of Fame that should be. As for who eventually be, here's who I think will.
Could be inducted now:
Kobe Bryant
Tim Duncan
Allen Iverson
Shaquille O'Neal
Kevin Garnett
That's all I can think of right now. This, of course, doesn't include those who might eventually get there in a few years.

Nash (2 time MVP)
Dirk (MVP)
Payton
