One of the Lakers problems last night was shooting the ball way too early in the 4th quarter. If you are nursing a slim lead with only a few minutes left in the game, why are shooting the ball with 10-12 seconds left on the shot clock? They need to have better clock management from their players and stop taking shots that look tempting.
Great post man, Fish has had this problem all season. If you have two skilled 7footers on your team you had better use them, they are both very good passers to so if you work inside out you will get a better shot.
Remember, D Fish is 34. Driving to the hole and trying to guard speeding guards is not his forte. But he does ok. I'd like to see Farmar pick his game back up. I know he just had a huge birthday party; and Laker fans remember Smush and others partying before the playoff game
Washington up next
Good win for Houston. One of my friends is a Rocket fan. Congrats CD
And...just read Lamar's been pouting about his role in the offense. Box score 3 points...and he didn't play well in the 2nd game either. Phil should keep Rad in the fourth or go with Luke Walton. Rad had the stroke goin two nites in a row and can't play in the fourth. Lamar is long and plays better defense, but 3 points and pouting...Grow the hell up
well myth... its my fave game of the year tonight. well, one of the two. toronto v portland. cant see he raps winning i must be honest, we'll see how the new coach is doing because it didnt click in utah. however, our players wont want another big loss, so its important we at least make it close.
good luck man.

Yep, we've got a couple of players at the moment who are too worried about "getting theirs". This is a championship caliber team and sacrifices will have to be made in terms of playing time, you would think that you would make the most of the playing time you do get though instead of crying about it (Josh Powell has been the model professional so far). Most of the complaining has been subdued because we have been winning, but if we lose a couple then it will become more prominent.
Lakers should be ashamed of themselves with that effort. Same ole go under the screen, no big guy in paint. I love Fish...time after time, he got beat. Same with Farmar. Hey Phil, Luke is there. Rad has 11 points and he can't play again in the 4th. Don't know wat's up with Ariza. Turnovers and his usual steady defense was horrendous
Home for two. Phoenix and then payback on Friday
Am I right, Lakers fans

No excuse for playing like that, we seem to have gotten away from the defensive effort that was so prominent in our first few games. We may have the most talented roster in the league but that alone will not be enough if we play with no desire and pride. The Kings carved us up with dribble penetration last outing and we made no adjustments whatsoever, we deserved to lose last night.
I can only hope that this hammers home to the team that we must play tough defense and share the ball EVERY GAME, if we do that then we can go all the way.
Hopefully they come out pissed off tonight, we need to nip this mentality in the bud.

not sure i agree about most talented roster.
I've seen two cavs games so far this season, and I have been impressed. bench players know exactly what they have to do and executed well. lebron is playing incredible, defensively hes improved vastly and with the rest of teh team playing well on the defensive end its allowed him to be more dangerous and letting him roam and intercept the passing lanes or track back for blocks.
so my raps just got smacked hard by the cavs, and we're not executing well enough and not taking it inside. we're a perimeter team yes. but you need the inside game to be working to open up the outside. something seriously isnt clicking, and i'm not sure firing sam mitchell was teh best thing to do. replacing him with an improven coach doesnt seem to be a good option.
