LeBron should've been willing to guard Joe down the stretch. Can't switch big little

Got two good looks at three's. Just didn't fall

man i've seen two cavs games now, and lebron has dont anything but ballhog. yeah hes took his shots, but hes had assists, had some great defensive plays and has been the total teammate. perhaps this is why they lost i'm unsure.

Lakers win

Kobe led the way, Pau and Andrew had good games and Trevor was his usual self off the bench

Great game last night..

Just continue to play the way they should

Knicks tonite. Just guard the three point lne. No double teams, use the height of Pau and Andrew and it should be an easy win

Marion to Cleveland...good fit?

Marion to Cleveland...good fit?

Yeah, that one is tough. Value wise Marion is better than Varajao and Wally, but one of Cleveland's strengths is the toughness they have down low, and losing Varajao could take some of that away. I say they shouldn't make the trade because they are playing very well. If it were low risk, high reward that would be one thing, but this may be a high risk move if it were to go down.

highlight wise the trade would be incredible. tactics wise i agree with myth. the cavs are looking real good so far, and potching with team chemistry isnt a good thing when its working fine. there was talk that varejo could sign back with the cavs due to an opt out or something similar? if that happens... go for it. if not, stick.

Good to see the Blazers not all a late game meltdown by winning by 32. Roy was going off (for him). He had 29 points, but didn't play in the 4th and didn't play much the second half of the 3rd. He went 15 for 15 from the free throw line, which is 1 off from the franchise record. By half time he had 19 points with only 5 official fg attempts. Oden also had his most athletic move of the season with a huge running 1 handed dunk.

Lakers win 116-114

Led by Kobe's 28 pts, strong game by Lamar and good 2nd half defense

Anderson is tough and is playing well, but Marion when his head is on, can rebound and score and gives em a third scorer. Who knows

My sister is close friends with the Loose Cannon crew, a local radio station and whispers about a Rad/Lamar/Farmar trade for a veteran player or Darren Williams. Rumors abound even when ur 21-2

Would u do it Laker fans

Those 3 guys would never in a million years get you Deron Williams, lol.

I'm pretty sure Utah is not giving up Williams for anything, including Kobe Bryant.

I would think the only player Utah would take is Lebron James.

Rumors always swirling

Seems Lee/Curry for Bell/Diaw is also a hot topic

I would

Maybe the threat of a trade will get everyone on the same page

Every Lakers fan would make that trade.

Every Jazz fan would laugh at the Lakers fans for thinking the trade is actually possible.

The only way that trade would go down is if Mitch has some very incriminating photos of Jerry Sloan.
I dont think we need any trades, our team was fine when we started the season but the energy and effort has dropped off considerably. Maybe the guys are believing their own press but if thats the case they are in for a rude awakening on xmas day. There is no excuse for coming into games so flat, that goes for the whole team. I've given up watching post game interviews because they say the right things but on the court there doesnt seem to be any change. We have enough talent to beat most teams without having to dig too deep but you want to build that mentality of playing hard every game so you dont have to flick the proverbial switch when the going gets tough.
We know that defense is the area that needs improving the most but im just not seeing the effort, once that changes then we will be back to blowing teams out and resting our starters.
It sounds crazy to be criticising a team that is 21-3 but anything less than a championship this year with this team has to be looked at as a failure.

We need a new point guard. Jordan Farmar plays absolutely no defense, he is the new Smush Parker. How are we ever going to be an elite defensive team with guys like Fisher and Farmar running the point? Farmar offers absolutely no resistance to opposing point guards. He just rolls out the red carpet, and that is why driving guards are breaking down our defense.

I would love to run either Sasha or Kobe at the point. I love the new defensive scheme, but it has been exposed, and the only way were going to get back to playing the defense we were playing at the beginning of the season is to get rid of the weakest link. The point guard position. Farmar and Fisher. This is my ideal lineup, which never will be went to to start the game, because Phil will never bench Fisher.

Sasha
Kobe
Ariza
Pau
Bynum

With this lineup, I think the defensive system would work again, since opposing guards just can't get into the middle like they have been, and completely break down the defense.

I believe the Lakers will make a move

Love Fish, and Jordan was making progress but ever since his 21st birthday party. He has done absolutely nothing. Rick Fox was very critical of his cocky attitude and Vic 'The Brick' Jacobs echoed the same. Fish is a warrior, but u can't keep letting ur man constantly beat u off the dribble. Andrew or Pau should be in the middle to contest shots, but man on man defense is the way

Good test on the road this Friday, but Wade appears to be tired. Hasn't played well and with the rumors swirling about Marion, the Lakers should be 1-0. Play good defense, guard the pick and rolls, hit the glass and establish Pau and Bynum earlier. I wouldn't start Kobe on Wade. Be our luck Lakers fans, Kobe gets called for some chicken **** fouls. I'd start Ariza

QFT/TBT

fisher should be used as an off th ebench experienced guy. dont do anything too flashy just be the rock of the rock of the team if the young pg isn't handling the situation well.

I have a feeling a trade could be going down in toronto... things dont seem to be going as colangelo expected and i dont think hes the idle type.

We'll gladly take Calderon off your hands. Are you interested in a one way guard, who has one speed and a huge ego?
