Its almost exactly as I told my friend. Oden is in a 3 game cycle: 1 good game, 1 ok game, 1 very bad game, repeat in any order.
His biggest problem is not the scoring, it is the fouling. Oden has a hard time staying out of foul trouble because of stupid fouls, that should be easy to fix (he doesn't know when not to go after the ball and he struggles staying straight up). Sometimes he will get in early foul trouble and then Przybilla plays so well that Oden just doesn't get back into the game (Przybilla is playing outstanding this year). I'd actually say Przybilla has been the 3rd best Blazer this year. But yeah, Oden's scoring is ok considering we knew his offense was supposively way behind his defense. Ones he limits his fouls and gets experience, I believe he will be just fine. I still think he could be close to Dwight Howard in the future, probably not quite as good, but close.

OK, Who does Portland play next?
Merry Christmas hoop fans, hope you all had a blast!
Awesome win by the guys yesterday, they really showed a lot of character and toughness. I have to be honest and say i didnt think we could do it with the way we had been playing lately but we really turned it up a notch. I think this game really shows what a difference Bynum and Ariza make with the matchups now, Pau doesnt have to worry about banging down low against Perkins and Ariza provides a long and active defender that can slow Pierce somewhat. You could see the effect Bynum has on defense with the low number of layups the Celtics had, it was a free lane in the Finals. I love the fact that we stuck with the Kobe/Rondo matchup, Rondo has been playing well and Fisher would have got burnt. I also hope we play Lamar on Pierce as well if we meet in the Finals, Lamar can keep Pierce from posting up and bother his jumper with his length. He can also switch the Pierce and KG pick and roll which would be helpful.
Finally Kobe played a masterful game, took what the defense was giving him and when the Celtics made the hard doubles and traps he gave the ball up and let his teammates exploit the openings. Very smart game by #24.
Happy Holidays friend
Healthy Trevor and Andrew makes a big difference. I am glad Pau took over down the stretch. Kobe is always goin to draw those double or triple teams and he found the open man(Pau) and he delivered
Next is GS. Go Lakers
I will be watching Boston tonite, hoping GS can pull off the upset 😄

Nelson is a good guard. He outplayed Tony Parker and gunned down my Lakers when we lost to the Magic
Yeah, he's solid.
Honestly, just being wishful (and greedy).
Not taking anything away from Jameer. He's averaging at least 17 points or more a game.
Then again, Orlando's overall scoring combined is amongst the best overall. Rashard is averaging about 20, Dwight is as well.
It's just that when I make an outlook for the season I don't see the Magic topping Boston. Cleveland maybe.
If we had a star player that was a top level scorer we could dominate.
Again, just wishful thinking. 😛
