Yes, the Magic swept the Lakers in the regular season, but I think in a play-off series, the Lakers would take it.
Not if Jameer was still in the picture. At least not in a sweep. Now, I could certainly see it but, Orlando most likely won't get past the second round anyways.
UGH!! That about sums it up for my thoughts in Detroit's season so far. Started off with so much promise to. Pistons needed to make a move and on the surface the Iverson deal looked good, not that case. Team chemistry isn't anything like it was and it doesn't look like the players have faith in Curry. I've been so busy this semester I haven't had time to post on here, I'm hoping I'll have more time come playoffs.
Cleveland loses to the Rockets, big. 93 to 74. Worst loss of the season for them, I believe.
Big Ben out for at least four weeks with a broken leg. A barely noticeable collision with Yao caused it. He thought he just bruised it at first, but the pain stayed and x-rays showed otherwise.
I'd say that this is a big loss but, Ben's numbers are a shadow of what they used to be. Not knocking Ben. Much respect but, he's getting old and it's natural for a players numbers to drop when you've been in the league as long as he has. Lebron is a star athlete that takes Cleveland to the next level. They also have Mo and Big Z but, who knows.
I don't wish ill fortune on any team but, with Cleveland being the leaders in the East I'd be lying if I said that this didn't help Orlando just a little. And Boston is getting worse for wear every week. Even with Rondo and Allen stepping up, the fatigue and injuries are being felt by their performances of late.
The East's top contenders seem to be running ragged. I've a strong feeling that LA is taking this years title.
Lakers win 132-106 😊
Lamar 23(11-12), Kobe 22(10-13), Pau had a solid game and 58 points off the bench
Lakers vs Denver tomorrow
Watching ESPN News in ten minutes to see Ben's injury. Cleveland should've traded Wally and others to get Shaq. Its mind boggling why they didn't
Lebron and Mo as good as they are, don't see em getting past Boston or Orlando unless they add another consistent scorer
I agree my friend. Lakers are the fave to win it all
Pretty interesting article about the state of the economics in the NBA.

For basketball fans, it's not looking too good in a couple of years.

A great and depressing read.

Fixed.
There's always College Basketball, which is better anyway.
Lakers lose again 🙁
2nd straight poor effort from the bench. Barbossa kept goin past Fisher and Farmar. Said it before, Fisher has an excuse(34 years old). Jordan can't move his feet fast enough. Sasha still struggling with his shot. Trevor made some late baskets, but clearly lost on defense all game. Lakers signed Adam Morrison and Shannon Brown. Can't fathom why Jackson won't play em. Morrison can make a shot and Brown can play defense that Fisher and Farmar cannot
