Orlando beat Boston woot

Yes they did. ✅

Boston were not there for the first half and the Magic were just knocking down shots like dominoes.

Granted, KG wasn't there and neither was Rondo (which the Magic's PG's and Lewis exploited) but, the second half was the complete opposite. Ray Allen was just unstoppable.

Orlando managed to hold them off with some consistent foul shooting. Dwight made the majority of shots (as he did against the Nets) which is a great thing to see. Not to mention, Dwight having the block fest he had definitely helped. The Magic had some pretty efficient defense, especially in the paint. The entire team played well. Securing rebounds and making steals.

Even with their offensive collapse in the second half, I'm still very happy with the win.

Good win 👆

Lakers today vs Portland. Don't leave shooters, go inside early and all five guys need to be in double figures. Big game from Lamar is the key. Bench should be productive again

Big game against the Blazers, we've lost 6 in a row at the Rose Garden. Lamar needs to get on track offensively, he's shot has been way off the last few games. Limit the quick shots and run the offense to the 4th and 5th options, that will help us on defense because the Blazers wont be able to run out on long misses. Kobe needs to bring out the defense on Roy, that kid is a tough cover.

Can't seem to beat Detroit, EVER. 🙁

Lakers lose 🙁

Next game vs Houston

Worked all night, what was with El Heat?

I'm not sure, I think every team had it. Well, the Spurs and Mavs did, but I didn't real pay attention to any scores so I don't know about any other teams.

But, it needs to be said, Dwyane Wade is a God!

Blazers win!!! Sorry bros.

Glad Ariza didn't get suspended. It certainly didn't look intentional, and things about Rudy are sounding good. Odom may get suspended for stepping into the altercation when he was on the bench.

The thing about today's NBA is that everyone's becoming "pussified". With these lame rules players like Rodman, Mahorn, McDaniel, Lambier... all the old school guys, would have never played more than 3 games a season!! Also, these players need to sack up, seriously! Brandon Roy is a great player, but don't get your feelings hurt, dude! It was a play that resulted in an unfortunate injury, it's not like Ariza's known for being a head-hunter. Take a chill pill, be a Man, and go look after your fallen comrade, don't go try to make things right, superhero! The ONLY reason I mentioned Roy here is that it's the most relevant situation, but this happens ACROSS THE NBA, not just with the Blazers and Lakers. Then again, what else but childish behavior can we expect from a league that allows children to play a Man's game?

Awful performance from the Lakers, credit to the Blazers who were up for it from the opening tip. The curse of the Rose Garden strikes again, 7 and counting now.
As for the Ariza foul, i felt it was a play on the ball. If Fernandez lands on his feet then no problem. Thats the way the NBA is called nowadays and while you never want to see anyone get injured there is a knee jerk reaction for these kind of plays. Lamar has been suspended for leaving the bench, that to me is the most stupid rule out there. I said the same when Diaw and Amare were suspended in the playoffs for the same thing. The incident was right in front of the Lakers bench and Lamar is supposed to sit there while this all happens. Your instinct is to stand up for your teammate, just like Roy and Aldridge did when they went at Ariza. The only difference is that Lamar was on the bench, that doesnt mean he shouldnt stick up for his teammate. Anyway its done now, i just think the NBA is getting too soft. Sure we dont want brawls every game but it seems like the emotion is being taken out of the game and thats a shame.

I'm done, dude. Seriously. I couldn't care less anymore. The NBA sucks ass. Hopefully this frustration is temporary, but it's getting ridiculous.

lamar odom was just suspended for one game 🙁 🙁

Lakers didn't play well. I was telling my twin before the game started. Five guys in double figures is a must on this three game trip. Kobe shot a lil too much in the first quarter. Pau was outmuscled by Joel

Just one game but I hope the Lakers realize this when they see Portland again in a month

Lamar susp 1 game. That's the rules. Don't agree but

Tomorrow vs Houston. Josh Powell should get the start. Establish Pau early and don't leave the shooters. Hit the glass and Fisher and Farmar have to contain Brooks

They do need to change that rule, especially since they now allow refs to look at replays when fights occur, a rule that was not in place when they started enforcing the 'you come off the bench and you get 1 game suspension for sure.' Now that refs can review the tape during the game, they should be allowed to assess a technical for anybody that leaves the bench, and leave suspensions for when they actually get into fights.

same old, same old lippers 😆 😆 😆 😆

Indeed

Wade is deserving of MVP this year.

It'll be hard to bounce back against the Rockets tonight, especially without Lamar. I would let Yao get his and play him straight up, cover the shooters and dont let them get in rhythm. Gotta win the battle on the glass to, Powell is a very good rebounder but its gotta be a team effort to box out. Gasol needs to run the floor hard as soon as we secure the boards, Yao isnt very good at changing ends and the quicker we can wear him out the better. Also Kobe needs to play smart and not get into a personal battle, both Battier and Artest play him very well so he must use the offense to find good shots instead of going off the dribble. The bench needs to step up to, the 3ball should be our last option - run the offense for longer than 10 or 15 seconds and we'll get good shots. Fisher and Farmar will be tested with the quick guards, i'd like to see Shannon Brown get some minutes at PG. He is very quick and athletic and can disrupt with his size.
