Great win, especially when we looked so disinterested in the 2nd quarter. Kobe was incredible down the stretch, that altercation with Ron seemed to fire him up (and send Ron into self destruct mode). Powell was solid, thats the type of player he is, nothing flash just works hard on both ends and plays within himself. Still a bit worried about the bench, we have to solve that problem soon. Hopefully Bynum coming back will strengthen our bench, if Lamar stays in the starting line up then Drew will be a huge asset to the bench and the same for Lamar if Drew starts. Sasha and Farmar have been sorry, they really need to get back on track.
Another great challenge tomorrow with the Spurs, they are rolling at the moment. I'd make sure Ariza spends a lot of time on Parker instead of Fisher and Farmar.
Great win on the back end of a back to back, 2-0 on the Texas 2-step. I think that whopping we got in Portland has woken us up again, sometimes you can start to believe the hype if you are winning easily. Good to see Lamar active again, if he works the boards early it seems to set the tone for the rest of his game. Kobe shut the door on the Spurs in the 4th, best closer in the game.
Next up Dallas, Kobe always plays well against them but we need the bench to pick it up. It'd be nice to see the starters getting some more rest.
I'd like some opinions on defense through the years. Some people say defense was harder back then, because of hand check rules. Some say the opposite. Here is an interesting video of Jordan Vs Real Defense.

One more good one.
Orlando fended off their lead from a hard playing Washington.
It was a game for the Magic that was a lot like a hot pocket out of the microwave.
Hot and Cold.
The Wizards wouldn't go away and the Magic were missing shots.
Antawn Jamison scored a season-high 36 points for the Wizards, while second-year guard Young added 20.
Pietrus and Battie (who had 13) had solid performances, Pietrus in particular. He had 2 blocks, 5 assists, 11 rebounds and 21 points. Reddick and Pietrus hand some key threes. It's always good to see Pietrus play well, especially when Turkoglu isn't able to.
Alston brought in 19 points and Lewis had 18.
Dwight had 5 blocks, a career-high of 7 assists, 13 rebounds and 18 points. He had some goal tending calls, one of which was questionable. He was cold at the line and he also got a technical for arguing with one of the officials on said goal tend.
A decent win, but not a great performance.

Teams depleted like Washington always play hard
Nothing I don't know and that's easy for you to say. You're a Laker.
Try and give me words of wisdom when you root for struggling franchises that teeter on greatness such as the Magic, the Braves and the Dolphins. 😉

Indeed I am. For 30 years
A Rams fan also. They haven't been a decent team in years
Dodgers fan since the Gibson years and they have had misfortune also
Lebron had 51 points 😱

Nah. The guy is (was) talented for sure but, he hasn't played in over a year and it shows. And with the way Rondo has been playing, making Marbury a starter is criminal.
His time with Boston will most likely mirror his tenure with the Knicks. At least his last years.
The guy is known for having a less than helpful mentality. He's infamous for disrupting locker rooms. While I don't think that'll be the case in Boston (too many vets and the Celtics are known for their teamwork), he'll likely just warm the bench because he's lost his fire and he's not a team player.
He's no asset.

Ah, so you understand. 😂
Nice win for the Lakers.
Orlando gives Utah a sound defeat. 105-87
Howard had 28 points, 20 rebounds and 3 blocks.
The team overall played well, defensively and shared the ball and spread their offense. Although Lewis scored a measly 5 points and was 2-9 within the arc and 0-6 outside while making only 1 of his 2 free throws. I'm sure next game he'll be more productive. 😂
Next up, away at Cleveland this Tuesday.
