You don't understand, man. This wasn't suppose to go on this long in the first place. This isn't championship performance. Struggling like this in the 1st round?! Defending Champions? W/e, we'll take game 7. It's meant to be.And what's "colloquy"?
Asking "what's colloquy?" first, probably would have saved you the rest of the post.
"Colloquy" is a dialogue, in this case with anyone who'd be reading. Although why'd you ask, when you could just look it up...
The headache was because your post was just bothersome to read in general.
And to reply, why is it meant to be? You believe that it's fated for Boston to win it all or that somehow Boston is just leaps and bounds better than any team they face? I'd call that thoughtless bias.
That kind of mentality never makes any sense to me. If both opponents think they are fated to win, then what? 😬
Whomever survies elimination will be because the better team won. Whether that means healthier, more determined or just luckier, that will be the case, not because it was fated. Unless of course, the NBA officiating has a hand in it.
Chicago got some good trades before the deadline and Rose is a phenom and he's a rookie. They're in the playoffs and Chicago is determined to win. Sleeping on them is foolish and by the way Boston is playing, that doesn't seem to be the case, so why should Boston be clearly taking this?
From all the lead changes, overtimes, big plays and bad calls (Rondo's flagrant that never was for example) to have such confidence because of last years team, which they are not, is arrogant. I guess all those other playoff games shouldn't be accounted for.
You always can blame these factors... Allen and Pierce are old. They are great, (esp. Allen) but old. They are getting tired and in a series where you have so many overtimes, the fatigue and injuries will eventually catch up to you. Chicago is very young and very talented which helps explain their ability to maintain their offense and be successful. Boston is without KG, there's your biggest defensive asset right there. Perkins and Big Baby are both good, but are limited in range and depth.
I'm a Magic fan and I know they can beat anyone (except Detroit), but I know anyone can beat them (like Detroit). This is particularly true for the playoffs. It's a different game.
The fact that this series hasn't humbled you is really somethin' else.
