I really wanted him to fix our weakness from last year which was defense, but i've come to accept that he has to find a rhythm offensively first. Its just the way he is and when the rebounding and shotblocking are there then he is one of the best centers in the game. I really hope this is the breakthrough game for him, we will need him if we are to win it all.
Loved the consistent defense we played tonight, i enjoy watching that even more than our offensive firepower sometimes. Fish needs to sit for the rest of this series, he may have some use if we meet Denver (Billups) but Brown and Farmar are making a much bigger impact on both ends. Major props to Lamar as well, who battled through injury to help out off the bench.
Now is the time to finish it off in game 6, if we have learned anything from game 4 it will be done.
I'm back, bitches!
Ah, it's nice to have Internet again. 😄
I'd cry about the way the Magic are playing, but I wouldn't be saying anything anybody didn't already know. The Magic blow big leads and can't get it together. This postseason has proved that, thus far.
I will cry a little...
In game four, The officials practically gave Boston that one.
Game 5? Orlando blew it, big time. Lead the whole way to only choke in the last five minutes. Just, astounding.
The Magic can outplay their opponents, but in the end they can't close the deal.
I miss Nelson. 😂 crybaby
Win or lose, I'm looking to next year with a full lineup and an older, more mature team.

Throw the damm ball to Dwight
Well, Battie and/or Lewis are the best choices to give Dwight some breathing room. I'd say Turk, but he's terribly inconsistent (and stupid). He's more luck than clutch.
With they way they play with Dwight, he's diminished against Big Baby and Perkins. And blaming others, even if there is a grain of truth, is not very mature of him, esp. as the DPOTY. Man up, dude.
Like I've said all year, pick and roll. It worked wonders against Philly in game six. Draw the fouls at least by attacking the basket with anyone besides Howard.
Tossing it to Dwight has proven ineffectual. Everyone saying they should give the ball to Dwight in the fourth, just doesn't know better. Opponents knuckle down in the fourth when they're behind (and they usually are) Esp. Boston, which gives no room for error for Dwight.
He's a poor free-throw shooter and he can't muscle his way on the inside against guys his size and bigger. Plus, his hook has been awful lately.
Give the ball to Lewis and run the pick and roll, while keeping Dwight close to the inside to keep em honest. That way they can draw the coverage on Lewis and allow Dwight an inside look with less attention.
And, for the love of God, they need to stop shooting so many threes, esp. when they have the lead.
Once Orlando gets going, they are awesome, but their minds are not where they should be. They don't have that die-hard instinct. And because of that opponents keep coming back from big leads because Orlando eases up and then plays dumb under pressure. Game 5 was probably the worst meltdown I've ever seen. They are their own worst enemy.
A sports writer from Orlando said it best today; "Dwight is the heart of this team, but Nelson was the soul." They need a solid closer/captain. Right now, they don't have one and now they are starting to point fingers at one another.
Orlando shoulda, woulda, coulda won this in five (and yes, Orlando was robbed in game 4), but they lack the I.Q. and intensity and now they're behind going into game 6 in win or go home situation that even if they win, they'll be playing a game 7 in Boston.
It ain't over, but I think I at least see a fat lady.
Throw it inside to Dwight, double team comes...can get off a better shot. That's what I meant
We chatted earlier in the year about the leadership and the All Star play of Nelson
IMO, wat can help Dwight in the off season, if he works on a nice 15 foot shot and teams will stop the double team. Baby and Perkins...tats a 600 lb tag team
Any free agents, u guys looking for
Well winning by 40 was impressive. What was more impressive is that the lead never got under 20 after the 1st half. Granted this is a "weak" Rockets squad.
Phil please use this starting lineup for game 6!
Farmar
Bryant
Ariza
Gasol
Bynum
We must destroy them early with our mega advantage of bigs, give Odom rest, and Fisher limited minutes to prepare for Billups in the next round.
