The networks are definitely pro Cavs/Lebron and a good deal of people I know are giving the series to the Cavs and the title for that matter.

Space the floor and hit 3s, the Magic be ok

Cavs have no one to guard Dwight

I expect the media to felate Lebron, but the last time we played Orlando they handed us a 40 point beatdown. I'm more than glad we get to pay them back for that and maybe send them home, but even the one win was close. This is going to be a long series for us. Though hopefully the lessons were learned and now we got Ben Wallace back. He is usually too strong for Dwight to just steam roll and he should be able to defend Dwight's one post move. Though chasing down the magic shooters is another story.

Not really.

Anyways, great game between the Nuggets and Lakers.

A nail biter.

Happy for ya Guy.

Yeah, it kinda of does.

I'm not saying one star player will make your team automatically better then everybody else, but I've noticed that in the last couple of minutes, the game is generally won by how good the star player is.

Look at the teams right now.

Magic - Howard
Cavs - Lebron
Lakers - Kobe
Nuggets - Anthony

Awesome, awesome game! Let's hope all the games will be a nail biter like last nights.

Go Lakers

Don't see how you can call Bryant the 2nd best in the league if you watched all 48 of last night's game.

Not according to Jerry West.

It's called motivation. His words are gonna make Kobe average 35 this series.

He's an amazing player

Good game last night. Carmelo Anthony is a lot better than I expected.

Great game. Kobe was amazing in the 4th

Melo is a talent

Anthony Carter should be forbidden from all inbound passes for the rest of his career.

Uh, I don't remember Big Ben slowing Dwight at all. I remember Dwight spinning around him and what not, but the stops I do not recall.

Either way, it'll be a good game tonight. I look forward to it.

Sure, and they all have a solid supporting cast.

Howard has Lewis, among others (Turk, Lee and Alston).
Lebron has Williams and Big Z.
Kobe has Pau, Bynum and Odom.
Anthony has Billiups (and vice versa).

The Magic finished round 1 without two of their starters. Games are won by a team effort.

If Lebron explodes tonight, I could care less, so long as we shut the rest of the team down.

Wallace can't stop Howard.

Not from what I've seen.

Van Gundy can stop Howard. That's about it.

I will slightly disagree.

It's true that a team with a superstar and not supporting class won't go anywhere but when it comes to the playoffs, it's usually who has better superstar who is playing up to his ability. Doesn't really matter if the other team has a better supporting class.

Would a team who has a better supporting class beat Jordon in the playoffs when he is on fire. No, they won't. There is a reason most of the championship basketball teams have that one superstar that will make the difference. If Orlando has a better team, thats great, but Cleveland has Lebron James and when he is on fire, I don't think any team could beat them.

I dont get the Magic. Sure Redick has not been a scoring machine but not sure how they can expect him to develop anything when his minutes are so random. He will start and play 30 minutes one day then not enter the game the next. Even though he has not been scoring a ton he has been a solid player for them since that last game in Philly when he played huge.

Since that game he has:

5 steals, 1 block, 15 boards, 21 assists, 59 points, 15/16 from the line, and ONLY 2 turn overs. He was playing around 25 minutes a game over that 8 game stretch and overall being a solid contributor to the team.

Now how do you take that and decide now he isnt worth getting on the court?

MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC

Magic win

Lebron 49 points and he doesn't take the last shot
